I started with a nice bloody mary and a bowl of gumbo...which had amazing flavors! I was still hungry so I ordered shrimp and grits. I'm from Illinois so when I say a grits were bland, I mean, nothing. I had not been so disappointed. On top of the plan grits, was the shrimp with maybe an ounce of shredded cheese. I read the description wrong and thought it was cheesy grits. Service was pretty good though.
Stopped in late night. There wasn't really anybody in there but everybody that was in there was interacting with everyone else that was in there. Nice little spot. If you want to do something casual. Fish bites were really good.
I would probably not return.
I tried this place because it had good reviews on Yelp, but I was disappointed. The main reason is the overall cleanliness. A large black stain on the concrete in front of the door gives a wrong first impression.
