No doubt the best pizza money can buy in Irving. They specialize in neapolitan style cooked in a super hot wood fire oven. Don't come here if you are expecting American style pizzas ala Pizza Hut or Papa John's. The crust is thin, the sauce is rich, and the cook was perfect. The 12" is more than adequate as a meal for one or to share for those with small appetites. I chose the Diavola pizza which comes topped with hot sausage, fresh jalapeños, bell peppers, and basil. It had a pleasant kick to it from the fresh jalapeños but wasn't overly spicy. I also ordered the Italian wings and the sauce was very rich and savory. It is a very thick garlic parmesan sauce that one can easily tell is homemade. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get and I'll recommend Cavalli to anyone looking for a quality lunch or dinner
An awesome neapolitan pizza. Great thin crust that's well done and perfect toppings.
The best. Great service. Just wished the opened earlier on Saturday. I don't get it. They don't open till 4:30
Delicious pizza!!! Great service.
Beautiful simplicity is the key to their pizza. They have some wonderfully locally crafted soda and great salads. Perfect for lunch or an evening meal.
Great margherita pizza and shrimp paninni. The tiramisu was ok. Took a little longer but good place overall
Their fresh wood fired pizzas are great!
Wow! This place is small and has brick log oven to cook pizza. I had the margarita pizza and it has good size for a personal pizza. I thought I wasn’t going to be able to eat, but it was so good I ate it all. All I can see it was amazing. The best I have tasted.
Awesome fresh New York style food! Unique items on the pizza. Salad was fresh. Not a lot of places to get cannolis in Texas. Mangia!
I have tried to hunt the best pizza in the DWF area and hands down.. Cavalli takes 1st place!!
Pizza definitely wasn't as good as the reviews and pictures make it seem, I got a New York pizza with meatballs, pepperoni, and sun dried tomatoes. 1st Pizza was completely cold so I had to drive back to get a fresh one, but they gave me a fresh one no questions asked. Pizza was decent but not great, very thin & floppy crust and barely any sauce. For the price I think it's definitely too much money for the pizza you're getting.
Gave them 4 stars in 2012 because it was the 1st Neapolitan pizza that I've had. Left room in case something better came along. Haven't had anything better all these years. Upgrading them to 5 Stars!
Cavalli Pizza has been my easy access neapolitan pizza joint for a couple years now. It's close to home, not too pricey, and hits the spot every time. If you want tasty wood-fired pizza, then this is the place. Unless this kind of pizza isn't your thing, then I wouldn't go.
