Run, don’t walk, to this amazing Thai restaurant. Apparently, it is the sister restaurant to Sakhuu Thai, which has several locations and is well-known, but for legal reasons they are not able to use that name in this location. Food is the same…excellent!!! I’ve tried a few different things here, and everything is delicious!! Wonderful staff and a cozy atmosphere! It would be a great date-night spot as well, since it’s dimly lit with cute little lamps on each table. It’s tucked away in a strip mall, so it’s easy to miss. Please, please come to this location and keep it afloat! It’s been under new ownership for the past few months, so don’t judge based on reviews from more than 5 months ago. I’ve tried the pad Thai, Tom Kha soup, mango sticky rice, pad see ew, and today tried the massaman curry…all were with MEDIUM spice (perfectly spiced…not weak and not overpowering). Obviously no spice on the mango sticky rice ;) Everything is delicious here!! The quality of chicken is great (I’m very picky about that), it is white meat chicken…no gristle, etc. You’ve got to come here…it will be your new favorite Thai restaurant, like it is mine! Kit is a wonderful, attentive and friendly server…hope you get him…though I’m sure they’re all amazing!

I was pretty good…
I order Thai fried rice. I thought I ordered beef. They gave me chicken. It was still very tasty and just the right amount of spice.
I’ll try again next week and see I can get them to give me beef fried rice. 😎

Traveling and decided to grab som Thai food from here. The siracha rice with chicken was disgusting. Tasted like shrimp, the chicken was rubbery . Took two bits and trashed it. Veggie egg rolls had nothing in them, it was all wrap no veg. Decided to call the establishment to communicate this and they only offered a store credit. We don’t live here we are traveling. Avoid this place. I do not recommend if you’re in the Dallas area. Traveled the world this was the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. We like Thai food, I cook Thai food all the time. Gross 🤮

Wow, one of my clients told me about this place yesterday. So I sought it out, and here I am. I arrived around 1:00 pm. I was hoping that the restaurant was busy. It seems the name was recently changed to Hot Spice Thai. When I opened the door I thought the atmosphere to be very nice and clean. I 2as promptly greeted and seated at a cozy little table for two , in my case one, by the wall. I was given a lunch menu. For a drink, entrée, and appitizer, the cost is $12.99. That is very fair. For the appitizer, you get a choice of two eggrolls or the Tom Kha Soup. I asked for both. I wanted to the crunch of the eggrolls and the warmth of the soup. I was delighted with the soup. The flavors were quite lovely, and my tastebuds awoke from my lips to my toes. For those Thai food enthusiasts, you know what I am talking about. The flavor is 80% of everything. The crunch of the eggrolls was just right. I felt like goldilocks trying that last bowl of porridge. Yummy yum, all of the Tom Kha went into my tum.
My entrée choice was the Green Curry & rice. Again, I wasn't disappointed. The flavors once again curled my toes. I could not eat it all. So I know what I am having for breakfast in the morning. The waiter was so kind. So before our 80° weather hits tomorrow, my insides are nice and warm. This place should not be empty on a Friday afternoon during lunchtime time. Four thumbs up. I am including my toes.

We’ve been here twice for lunch in January, 2025 since new management has taken over. Have tried the pad thai, pad see ew and yellow curry. All were delicious. Large portions and a large amount of protein is included with each entree. Love the soup they serve at lunch. Lunch specials are a good value. Service was excellent. Plus, it a BYOB restaurant! Clean and beautiful space.

I ordered Hot Spice Thai through an app. I got the pad thai. It has an odd hue and tasted extremely bland (kind of a bad taste). Would turn elsewhere for Thai food.

Spent $15 on a small bowl of very salty Pho which was served in a triangular bowl, Not worth your money for small portions that doesn’t even taste good.
