Went to this location as a first-timer and I have to tell you, I have never had a fast food experience as awesome as this one, ever! The food was incredibly fresh and hot...like straight out of the fryer hot. I had to let mine cool down a bit before eating it, but you can't get fresher than that! The chicken was crispy, juicy and very well seasoned. (Note: The Carolina Reaper is not for the faint of heart. Unlike other places that simply name a mild or watered down sauce 'Reaper,' Hot Dave's uses ACTUAL Carolina Reaper powder. I have to admit, it caught me off guard so much, that I had to take it down a notch to the 'Extra Hot' flavor, which was absolutely perfectly SPICY, spicy and flavorful.)
You can tell that the GM, Rodney, really cares about his restaurant, employees and level of service because the restaurant was spotless, bathroom was super clean, the employees especially the cashier (Marley) was incredibly friendly, welcoming and patient (for us 1st-timers.) I was also surprised to see Rodney wiping down tables and checking on the customers, asking, 'How is everything? Everything good so far?' You only see that at VERY few fast food restaurants. (You better watch out, Chic-fil-A...Rodney's coming for you!)
HIGHLY Recommend this location and they've definitely gained a new, weekly customer of me. :)

Dave’s Hot Chicken in Irving is absolutely worth the hype! The chicken is always crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The spice levels are no joke — from mild to Reaper, they really let you choose your heat adventure. I love that even the spiciest levels still taste flavorful and not just painfully hot.
The sliders are perfectly sized, the fries are seasoned well, and the Dave’s sauce ties everything together. The bread stays soft while soaking up all the flavor, which makes every bite amazing.
The staff at the Irving location are friendly, fast, and keep the place clean and welcoming. Even when it’s busy, service is quick and organized.
If you love hot chicken, bold flavor, and a fun vibe, Dave’s Hot Chicken in Irving is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back!

Ordered from GrubHub and asked for additional packets of ketchup and honey for 2 orders of sliders plates. I only received 1 ketchup and 1 honey for the amount of food ordered. And, fries were cold and soggy. I will have to rethink about ordering from this restaurant location near my work in the future.
