Horrible tasting biryani.
I had a very disappointing experience with the biryani at this restaurant — easily one of the worst I've had in the entire Dallas area. I’m a huge fan of biryani and almost never throw it away, but this biryani I just couldn’t eat it. i had to throw it away.
Despite being told it was fresh off the stove, both the rice and chicken were cold and tasted stale. The flavor was outright bad, and the portion size was noticeably smaller than what other nearby Indian restaurants.
there is a strong competition in this area with so many quality Indian restaurants. I wonder how this place will hold up in the future..

I had ordered boneless biryani from this place and one the very first bite of chicken got the disgusting smelly roten chicken taste.
So I called up the restaurant. The girl comes on the call “krutika” or whatever her name was, She refuses me by saying that it is not possible that their chicken is bad. She kept arguing with me to a point that I had to drive back to their restaurant at 10pm.
The Guy named Ranjan/anjan or whatever his name was. He was smart enough to accept that It could be bad food.. I gave him the food back but
No refund is given to me. No order replacement given to me.
Most horrible customer service by bunch of unprofessionals. I hope they get sued one day for feeding roten poisoning food to people. Hope this reaches to health and food safety dept. I will write them too.
Ended up going to Biryani Bistro right opposite them to get food.
So I had to spend over $40 for just dinner for one plus the mental harassment by that girl Kritika. Such people should not work in service industry.
THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT but if u want to fall sick .. GO FOR IT

This small, cozy restaurant was hopping on a weeknight, but my takeout order was ready promptly. The place is tidy and prices are reasonable. While the service and value are good, the food's flavor was just okay – not bad, but not something I'd rave about. You can find more exciting food elsewhere.

I ordered food from this restaurant through DoorDash, but it arrived way too late - an hour late, to be exact. I understand that delays can happen sometimes, but an hour late for just noodles? Also, they didn’t send any fork or spoon, which was super inconvenient. They did include an egg puff, which I think was complimentary, but come on, how do you expect me to eat noodles with my hands?
Please work on your service. I get that delays can occur, but presentation matters too—and including basic utensils like a fork and spoon should be a given.

Terrible experience at Desi Bites — never ordering again.
The food was extremely poor quality: the rice was drenched in oil, way too spicy, and watery. It was honestly inedible.
When I tried to give feedback, the owner was shockingly rude. He refused to take any responsibility and just told me to “talk to Uber Eats” — completely dismissive and uninterested in what I had to say,( he was trying to smart)
This place does not care about food quality or customers.
Highly disappointing,
Request to owner :- for sure you will be losing businesses for sure if you keep these kind of People at front desk. , I am also adding pictures

Decent place for quick Indian bites. Generally I have heard that chai is good here and some snacks.

Surprised it’s Rated 3.8 — Definitely Deserves More
I got the Paneer Tikka Masala, and honestly, it was great — flavorful, well-spiced, and way better than I expected. I’m usually pretty strict when rating places, so when I give 5 stars, it actually means something. For the price point, the food is absolutely worth it.
Not sure why this place only has 3.8 stars. People often judge spots like this with the wrong lens — this is not a fine dining place, and that’s okay. You don’t walk into McDonald’s expecting white tablecloth service, right? Same logic applies here. Judge a place for what it is, and Desi Bites delivers.
They’ve got a wide variety of Indian snacks, meals, and sweets — and the prices are super reasonable. It’s the kind of casual, everyday Indian joint that gets the food right.
The ambiance is a bit chaotic, kind of like you’re in a busy spot back in India. It may not “match the vibe” some people expect, but honestly, that adds to the authenticity.
Good food, fair prices, and no-nonsense Indian street-style energy.

Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable experience. I ordered Vegetarian Gobi 65 and ended up chewing on actual chicken pieces. When I looked more into the food, I found even more chicken pieces. As a strict vegetarian, this was not just a mistake, it was deeply disturbing.
I’m a vegetarian, and this is not just a dietary choice for me, it’s a serious ethical and personal value. The fact that they carelessly prepared the food is beyond shocking. It’s disrespectful, careless, and shows a complete lack of concern for customers with dietary restrictions. Imagine if someone had religious restrictions or food allergies. This could’ve had much worse consequences.
I will never be ordering from here again, and I strongly urge other vegetarians and ethical eaters to avoid this place unless they want to be traumatized mid-meal.
Do better.

Ordered boneless chicken biryani. Chicken and rice still need to be cooked more. Both are bit hard to chew and digest. Taste and spicy levels are good.

Terrible service. If they can’t keep up the promised time, they should atleast tell folks a specific time. Standard 5 minutes should.be ready is their answer.
