I ordered food for a meeting with my staff. Since everyone wanted barbecue, I chose Dickey’s as it was the closest option. I placed the order through Uber Eats so it could be delivered directly to our office.
The food did arrive on time, which I appreciated. Despite placing a large order of over $143 for six people, we only received four sets of cutlery and no plates or napkins at all. That meant we had nothing to actually eat with until one of my staff had to leave the meeting to buy utensils, plates, and napkins. For a corporate lunch order, that’s unacceptable.
The food itself was mediocre at best. The wings were especially disappointing—they tasted old and stale, as if they had been sitting around for days.
I even tried calling the location around 4 PM to share feedback, but I was told no manager was available.
If you’re considering ordering from this location for a corporate or group lunch, I would strongly recommend looking at another option.

I placed an online order with this location, only to find the store completely closed by the time I was supposed to pick it up. No staff, no food, nobody there. Yet, they still took my money.
I’ve called multiple times trying to reach the manager, left my phone number and all the order details, but the manager is never available and has not returned a single call. Every time I try, it’s conveniently the same story—no follow-up, no accountability, no resolution.
At this point, it feels like they’re stealing money from customers by taking online orders when they aren’t even open. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
If you value your time, your money, or basic customer service—avoid this place.

Ridiculous customer service!!! They messed up an online order and when I called them I was told by the young lady sorry and then hung up on. No prior issues, but I definitely won't be returning to this location b/c of her actions or lack thereof.

Ordered baked potato meal with chopped brisket drink and fries plus rib.
Lemonade was watery and not cold even with ice.
Brisket was great. The extra rib was very sad looking but flavorful but the potato itself was not very appetizing.
The brisket definitely made the rest edible.
Not worth 18.99.
Just get the brisket by itself.
Overall, meal was technically correct and all requests were followed.
Staff was friendly.

Five Stars Aren’t Enough – These Ribs Deserve a Standing Ovation!
If heaven had a smokehouse, it would be the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Irving. I walked in expecting a decent meal, but what I got was a life-altering encounter with the most glorious ribs to ever grace a grill.
From the moment they hit the table, the aroma alone was enough to silence every thought in my head. These weren’t just ribs—they were slow-smoked symphonies, each bite an explosion of smoky, tender perfection. The meat? So juicy it practically leapt off the bone in surrender. The bark? A masterclass in caramelized, smoky bliss with just the right whisper of heat. And that sauce—oh, that sauce—it was like sweet Southern poetry with a smoky kick that made my taste buds weep tears of joy.
I don’t know what kind of barbecue sorcery is going on in that kitchen, but whoever’s manning the pit deserves a trophy, a medal, and probably a national holiday. Honestly, after these ribs, I’m questioning every other barbecue experience I’ve ever had. Were those even ribs? Or just sad pretenders to the smoky throne?

I recently visited Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, and overall, it was a great experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and had that classic smoked barbecue taste. The brisket was tender, the ribs were well-seasoned, and the mac & cheese was creamy and delicious. The portion sizes were generous, making it worth the price.
The service was friendly and quick, though there was a slight wait during peak hours. Thank you for suggesting the restaurant, SAM. The staff was helpful and made sure everything was in order. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere had a nice, casual Texas barbecue vibe.
Overall, if you’re looking for solid barbecue with good portions and a relaxed environment, this is a great choice!
