For a work meeting this past week, a co-worker recommended getting food catered from Dona Lencha on Belt Line. I got an estimate and placed an order for combo (beef / chicken) fajitas, with rice and beans, for 15 people, along with chips and salsa. Also, a couple of people had special dietary needs and needed to avoid gluten and corn. We explained that to the person who took my order. Upon picking up my order, everything was ready on time and the employees helped carry the items to my car. They even prepared special salsa and beef for the people with the special dietary needs and, beyond that, wrote out what each dish contained so that they could be assured of what they could and could not eat. That was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Everyone enjoyed their lunch that day. Beyond that, there was so much food that many were able to take some home to enjoy again for a second meal.Parking: I was able to park right by the front door to pick up a large catering lunch order.

This place has very awful food. Their horchata was pure water and barely tasted like any horchata. They even charged $2.99 for chips and salsa. I have never been to a place that charges for chips and salsa but I guess it’s normal at this place. Definitely not coming back and do not recommend at all.

Possibly I could have given it more stars, but we drove 45min to get there to eat, they recommended that it was very tasty food, when we arrived it was closed, they would open until January 18, 2023...THEY SHOULD HAVE RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMERS AND NOT JUST WRITE A NOTR AT THE DOOR, THEY SHOULD WRITE THAT NOTE ON GOOGLE MAPS TO KNOW AND NOT DRIVE SO MUCH FOR NOTHING!

This place is amazing. I can't say enough about this place. I work right across the street from it. The staff is so kind and always smiling. This place stays busy I don't even mind to wait for my food if it's an extended wait. Food is amazing. Al pastor tacos are the best thing here along with their churros! I will always come back. You gotta try this place.

Today I was craving cheese enchiladas from somewhere with an authentic Mexican feel. Enter Dona Lencha. I stopped by at 7:30 on a Thursday and found it odd that they were only open until 8pm. Maybe staying open until 9 would be better. Also the menu is very long and hard to read. I am always weary of a restaurant with a large menu and hardly any customers. Today the cheese enchiladas were great. Service was good too. So for that 5 stars on my visit today. Advice to management less is more, stay open an hour later and keep doing what you’re doing.

Great restaurant I always stop by when in Irving. This is a go to if you are in the mood for traditional Mexican food and at affordable prices.

Decorations give off the authentic Mexican design it's not much but it's simple the food is excellent really good seasoning well made the drinks were alright nothing big just plain soft drinks and the fresh waters were too sweet probably artificial but the Mexican coke isn't good at all and it's supposed to be better than original coke but if it was a different kind the restrooms were alright but my grandma said the womens restroom stank and the toilet was fully functioning I would give it three stars but I feel like that not the restaurants fault I guess someone went in there and tore up the restroom with all the food they ate the service was average but the food makes up for everything

For the price of $15, the fajitas could of been way better.

I was having one of those twice in a decade bad days, and I got stranded in the parking lot here. I was having a panic attack in my car because over the past two days, a bunch of really serious things went wrong in my life all at once, and now on top of that, my still new-to-me car broke down.I decided to go into this place to get something to eat and try to stop panicking. They made me probably the best tacos I've ever had. I ordered three tacos. When I finished those I ordered two more because they were so good. Then I went back the next day after I got my car looked at and had the Poor Boy's Torta -- excellent, as I expected. The prices are also very good. My 3+2 tacos and rice were something like $11. The torta+papas fritas was about the same price, and it was so big that I couldn't finish it, so not a bad "I'll have the other half for dinner" option. There are also $1 tacos on Wednesdays, so it looks like I'm gonna be here on a lot of Wednesdays.

Awesome service, great authentic Mexican food, and low prices. I moved to the area a couple months ago and now I visit here 3 or 4 times a week. I definitely recommend this place for Mexican food.
