WHAT!!! they are permanently closed, Im literally in tears over here. I haven't been in the Dallas area long, but when I waa in the mood for Chinese food this littke Gem was where I went to get it. I currently stay out by Ft. Worth and literally drive all the way there for their food. I'm going to miss this freaking place and the witty personalties that run this establishment too. now I'm going to literally have to settle with having to get my Chinese food craving elsewhere and I know the new place couldn't hold a candle to "My Eggroll House.". to the owners enjoy retirement y'all deserve it and you'll be missed!!!

Has been confirmed today. April 4, 2022...They are officially retired and closed. I went for the first time in years , last month. Food was not so great, but the warm, friendly personality was still there! Wishing them well

This is some of the best tasting Chinese food I've ever had! It is very affordable and you get a ton of food! It is cash only, even though it said it on the sign, I didn't see it. The lady was very nice at the register she was even kind enough to give us 2 free waters after we insisted on tipping her. Panda express would have charged $17 for what you can get here for maybe $9 on the high end.

Drive through open only. Be prepared to wait in the evening. I ordered Broccoli and garlic sauce it was very good. Rice was good but at times can be dry. Very affordable. Thank you. Bye.

Drive thru, local, inexpensive, and a LOT of food. I got a stacked sesame chicken plate for $6!! The lady running it is incredibly nice as well. CASH ONLY, just a heads up.

The food was good I just didn't like being rushed in the drive thru. If I don't know you're menu give folks a chance to scan and decide what to order without yelling at you're customers.

This is it. One of the most precious hidden gems in DFW.This place is not the most aesthetically pleasing place nor a michelin star quality food. But it deserves 5 stars and nothing less especially considering the portion and price. I got general tsos chicken w/ fried rice, fried shrimp, and a bottle of coke for $10. Not to mention the free egg roll which was crispy.Drive thru only at the moment. It’s pretty unique that a Chinese restaurant like this has a drive thru. It takes a little bit longer than the usual McD drive thru, but you’re getting real food, hot and fresh. You will not see prices like this anywhere. $4-5 entrees? $3.5 for six fried butterfly shrimps with sweet sour dipping sauce? $1 for a 16.9oz bottle of coke? It’s makes you wonder how they are even making money at this point. There is no greater satisfaction than cheap and delicious food when it comes to eating out.Edit:I saw a complaint that this place lacks workers. This is a family business not a franchise. When you keep prices this low you can’t afford workers.

I went there yesterday after seeing reviews and pics. Yes indeed I was satisfied with my food and went back today to get Hot n Sour Soup.

Did not even get to try the food but I'm pretty sure it would not be great was kicked out because I took too long ordering it was my first time at the drive-through and was taking my time just to see the menu once I had my order ready she yelled at me or whoever was on the other side that I took too long and that she would not give me an order it was like Seinfeld Soup N*** I could not order because I took too long no CHINESE FOOD for you... lol There wasn't even nobody behind me

The old lady was super rude and she was yelling at me because they didn't have much food .

Been visiting this place since 1989 possibly before that!! That lady fed me back when I barely has money for rent! The food still taste the same and the prices are great!! You always get more than enough food. The egg drop soup is YUMMY. I left Irving for 21 years and always came here to eat when on vacation. ? I was sooo happy and not surprised to see it survived covid!

They are perfect the best Chinese food stop you'll ever experience. However, they need workers. The husband and wife run everything from cooking to serving and ordering. That is ignorance. Hire workers please
