Let me start by saying the food is great. Margito is an awesome waitress very helpful. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town !

The food is not that good. Service is horrible. They really do not care about their customers. I walked in and this one guy I am not sure if he is the owner but he is very loud and rude. He talked to me like he was offended we were there. I definitely DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE. I work hard for my money and I am not going to give it to a business that does not care about customer service. They lost a customer.

Cute little dive-ish place with great tacos. If you like spicy try the Habanero salsa. Muy rico!

As a hispanic, most tex-mex restuarants have subpar beans and rice. HOWEVER, el famoso has freaking delicious food AND DELICIOUS rice and beans. Beautifully seasoned. Chefs freaking kiss.

Great place and great food! Will be back. I had the bacon&egg tacos with a side of hash browns and mimosas! Totally worth it.

We decided to give this a place a try since we were in Irving! Cute little place and the staff are nice! It was a perfect day for patio seating (which is rare in this Texas summer heat). The area was pretty cute surrounding by apartments and shopping. Mimosa- yummy and were only $2.74 each. At first when they brought them to us I was like wth is this. However, once that first sip hit the back of my throat, I knew I had made a great choice lol they were strong asf lol Strawberry margarita- was super yummy, but kinda sweet. I however have never been into super fruity drinks but I'd definitely order it again especially bc it was strong. My sister (who ordered it) really loved it. Think the frozen one is $10 and on the rocks is $8Combination fajitas- my sister and mom shared them. Surprisingly was more than enough. They even had some to take home for later. My mom really enjoyed their Mexican rice. It had corn in it which i know I enjoy! They fajitas were like $13.50 I think. They order extra beans and rice since were sharing. Beans and rice are like $3-$4 each I believe. Breakfast tacos- ummm yes!!! I got the float tortilla with eggs and bacon. I really enjoyed these. They have beans in them which I was surprised I actually enjoyed. These were $3.50 each I believe. So good and they were actually pretty big. I was pleasantly surprised. Hash brown- I've never been a big fan of hash browns, but I ordered them just bc I wasn't sure how big the tacos would be. They were $3 I believe. To me hash browns didn't really have any flavoring. I added pepper for the few bites I had. I wish they had skillet potatoes or something that would've been great! Overall I will definitely try this place again if I'm in the area. I wanted to try their queso and sour cream enchiladas.

Great new taco place with nice casual atmosphere (indoor bar and outdoor seating during covid)! Delicious house margarita. Glad to see a reasonably priced place added to this area!

Ordered enchiladas. Tasted like microwave food. Margaritas had no tequila in them. Never visit that place.

Good service, great food, and even better drinks! I love that I can walk to this location because their margaritas don’t taste strong, but are quite sneaky!

Hidden little gem in Las Colinas. Every time I drop in I am wowed by service and management. They recognize me the minute I arrive and bring me my normal drink before I ever have to ask for it. Try the cucumber jalapeño margarita and the El Monstro burrito! Thanks Matt and staff for always making me feel welcome!

We've been here twice. It's a little bit like bringing Mexico here. It's authentic. Good food and drinks and the prices are great!
