My husband and I booked the Thanksgiving buffet because we were driving from about 5 hours out of town and didn’t know if anyone else would be open. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. When we got there, we were seated and then no one came to help us for a long while. Once we finally got our drinks, we went to get our food. The waiters were all standing around talking and asking each other if they could clean up yet. Some of the staff were already making to go boxes, so we felt rushed. Not only that, the food was cold and dry like it had been sitting out for a while. We hurried to eat our food and then waited almost 30 minutes for anyone to take our payment. We paid almost $200… for that kind of money we could have gotten a very nice dinner with food that was at least warm… it was our first time here but I definitely will not go back.

I booked the thanksgiving dinner buffet for my wife and I and it was not worth the money. While the selection of food was excellent, that was pretty much the only good thing about our dinner. We booked the last reservation available because we drove from 5 hours out of town that morning. Once we arrived, we were seated and then ignored. After 10 minutes someone finally brought us drinks. When we went to get our food, it had been sitting out for a while, the table was messy, and the food was not warm anymore. We also felt rushed because the staff were all making boxes for themselves and cleaning up the food. After we ate, we waited about 15 minutes for someone to bring us the check. And then about 20 more minutes before anyone checked us out. We kept trying to wave over waiters but they were all standing around the buffet talking and making themselves plates from the leftovers. Overall we paid almost $200 for cold food, poor service, and feeling like the staff just wanted us to leave so they could clean up. We ended up going out for fast food later.

Flossie's has not kept up with its first impression at all in any area, especially with the price increase. Except for the seafood area, everything else was pretty standard holiday fare. We had a 2:00 p.m. reservation and 2:55 p.m., we were told the buffet was closing. The wait staff had started serving themselves. I've gone to a lot of buffets and have never had to excuse or be excused by the wait staff. No teaspoons or stirrers for the coffee and tea. I think the Omni if much better than that.

Our experience was amazing. We had a brother and sister family reunion. We have not been able to see each other in years and we booked the brunch. We're still talking about it. Randy was so accommodating. It was an amazing experience and he made sure we had everything.

The ambiance of this place was amazing. The food was fair in my opinion. Love the host and disliked the fact that me and my guest were rushed after seating. We made reservations online and nobody stated the fact that the restaurant would be closing soon. They had a big party afterwards and we were continuously rushed to hurry. Didn't really care for that honestly. I'll give it another try though and hope for the best next time around.

A great place for breakfast. Their buffet is very reasonably priced and it was all delicious. High quality food served well.

Located in the Omni Las Colinas is this beautiful and unassuming hidden gem of a breakfast spot. The restaurant has an uplifting and bright color scheme which makes for a pleasant environment, they also offer both a buffet and a la carte options which is a huge plus for me. Terah is always awesome and goes that extra mile to ensure I am taken care of every visit, I recommend asking for her. The buffet is only $22 per person, and is all you can eat. It includes the full works in hot items, two made-to-order eggs, drinks, pastries/breads, fruits, cereals, and more. Everything is of superb quality and is made fresh daily too. I particularly found the pancakes in the buffet line to be impressive both in flavor and quality, and was served with real maple syrup. A welcomed upgrade over the stale frozen pancakes and cheap imitation syrup in a lot of other hotels. I came pretty close to closing, but everything was stocked, and Terah wanted to make sure that I and the other diners were able to get another helping of food before they put away everything, and I did not feel like I needed to rush to leave out of the area, which is genuine hospitality. Overall I had a wonderful experience and look forward to another breakfast here next time I stay or visit the area.

Do not expect to be able to get a mimosa or any other brunch cocktail just because it's on the menu. I was staying here to enjoy a weekend getaway and this always includes a mimosa with my brunch. However, 15-20 minutes after we ordered the drinks we were told they couldn't find the liquor cabinet key.
We came with 2 kids and it took us asking twice to get kids menus. Even though the pretty area with a view to the lake was open, we were sat next to the buffet and it made it feel very hotel-ish. All the eggs were cooked incorrectly. I had 2 over easy and one was over hard and the other over medium. My kids were supposed to get fried egg whites and got scrambled. The chiliquilas were ok. The buffet did look great but my husband said it was alright. Very disappointed. Should've went across the water.

Opentable Diner

Enjoyed our stay for the most part. Only had minor complains- paid for internet that didn't work. Also paid for early check in at 12, but our room wasn't ready until after 1pm. Food and wait staff was great at flossies and bar, valet was fast and polite, and the service at the front desk was a bit so so. Got the vibe they weren't having a great day and felt we were inconveniencing them. Room was beautiful. We stayed in the 2nd tier king. Comfortable bed and pillows. Overall I'd rate it a 4 out of 5.

Opentable Diner

Absolutely one of the best dining experiences we've ever had from the service to the amazing food. They were so fantastic with our young girls and made all us feel so welcome. I'd come back to Dallas just for Flossie's. Thanks Kevin and the rest of the staff for our amazing experience.

Peaceful breakfast! Although I didn't stay at this location of the Omni, it surely was a hidden gem. French Toast was amazing. The buffet offers plenty of choices. Definitely will return.
