I love this place and I've been going forever. I specifically did this to call out a previous review because someone claimed the place needed them to 'eat beef'. Indian Cafe does not serve Beef and never has for as long as I've been going there (over 7 years).

Indian Cafe Irving serves unique Bengali Style Indian Dishes — unique in taste, using flavorful spices, and fresh ingredients. They have never once served spoiled food - unlike nearby Indian restaurants such as Pasand or Our Place. Been visiting Indian Cafe for 13 years. Portions are small. But taste is out of this world! Highly recommend chicken curry, chicken biryani and fish curry. Thank you ma'am and sir for your outstanding service to our communuties ??— 11/27/2020

I visited this place on covid time. There were no staff, only two old couple who takes order and served us. This place not so busy and we got the order within time. The food was not expected to our level. We thought that it was Indian food but it doesn't taste like Indian food. And whatever we order with meat chicken, they mentioned out of order and they suggested us to go with beef which we don't eat. If you love Indian food, please don't prefer this restaurant.

My favorite place for a work lunch.

My husband's been going here since before he met me, and we've been getting to-go orders since the pandemic hit. Always delicious. The owners are very kind! And as a celiac, I appreciate that they always know, specifically, what is and is not safe for me to eat. I've never had a bad meal here, and I've never been gluten contaminated here. Wonderful business run by wonderful people.

Just left Indian cafe. The food is so fresh and delicious. It is authentically Indian and was made to order fresh for us! I’m not sure why people are leaving bad reviews. It is a mom and pop restaurant, nothing fancy, but extraordinarily clean. The owners are so friendly and took time to talk with us to get to know a little about us. My husband got the lamb vindaloo and tandoori chicken, I got the butter chicken, both were incredible. We will definitely be back!! Thank you!

Cool little place, great Indian food. Didn't know what to order but the chef came out and picked dishes for myself and the people I was with, wasn't dissapointed. Will definitely be going back

Owner put his mouth in our conversation and we had begun to talk about Spectrum cable......too outspoken. The food is mediocre at best, they often give you just 1 piece of meat on the chicken biryani at lunch time and the food is never the same.....today the biryani might be oily, tomorrow it might be light & floppy....not consistent. I do not want to eat here any longer, service is important to me, the man is just too mouthy.
