Went during a time that's mentioned as open hours in their website and door, but the place is closed and contact number is suspended. Waste of time
I went to the shop on Monday thinking they were open around 6:30 but they weren’t. Called and checked every possible thing but no reasoning was provided to say why they were closed so I don’t know which hours are actually real
Great food! Authentic Kerala food! We love the buffet and definitely will keep coming back on the weekends to enjoy it.
Excellent kerala style dosa and porotta with beef roast. Loved it..
First of all, the location will confuse you. It is in a sort of business strip, in a faceless, characterless corner of South Irving, without even a name board. My guess is that the place is not zoned for food service.
Second, food is, as the name claims 100% Kerala. Unapologetically so. So if you are looking for generic Indian stuff like naan and butter chicken, wrong place to go.
Food is very tasty, period. But it feels unhealthy, soaked/dripping in oil. I had an upset stomach the first time I ate here.
The girl who was managing the cash counter and waiting on us at the same time was exceptionally good. Nice, well spoken and efficient. She flat out refused to accept a tip at the end, which was unbelievable in this day and age.
Interior is basic, and pricing is slightly above average.
Grate place
“New owners have taken over, and we tried the Malabar Chicken Biryani — it was absolutely delicious with great flavor. The Pothichoru came with a generous variety of items and was also very good. The sambar stood out as especially tasty. I’d definitely visit again.”
They have the worst service you can expect. I have been on call with them requesting to have Sandhya to be packed for one person. They just say they will not do it and it has to be for 5 persons only. Have been requesting for 2 hours on call and it’s an 1 hr drive for me but still they are simply rejecting. I said I will pay for 5 but give me one person as I don’t want to waste the food.
The owner is rude he says he doesn’t care about the persons feelings nor interests. He just won’t listen to any requests.
No hospitality at all.
Me and another family were turned away during lunch as they wanted to focus on catering orders.
Will review food when they become a restaurant, right now they are caterers
I was asked to wait for 1hr and they ruthlessly sent me away saying they dont have containers to pack to-go order for my Vishu Sadhya. Where dis his ears go when I initially asked him for the order. Had a worst experience on a day which my community celebrates as an auspicious day. Never coming back here again.

One of the best Kerala food restaurant. my favorite was kappa Biriyany. Porotta and Beef fry was so delicious. The porotta was perfectly flaky and soft .If you’re looking for authentic Kerala food, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend!
Nice store with all Indian grocery. Specialty is the availability of South Indian items in detail. Staff also good mannered.
Absolutely delicious porotta and mutton curry! The porotta was perfectly flaky and soft, and the mutton curry was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. If you’re looking for authentic Kerala food, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend!
New owners and new menu!
This place is a gem for its delicious Kerala delicacies. Tried their Samudra meals which was so good and this meals also included a fish pollichath and that was one of the best Kerala fish preparation I have ever had in USA. Thalassery Chicken kizhi biriyani was mouth watering and this was accompanied with raita , chutney papad and a pickle. We also tried their kizhi porotta which was awesome. It’s a must try place for Kerala food. The price and rates are very reasonable and the service is good too
