I went in today at approximately 12:25pm and I was standing there for approximately 4 minutes before the man behind the counter even acknowledged me. I ordered General Tso Chicken with fried rice. I took about 2 bites of rice then looked down and noticed there was a BUG IN MY RICE just crawling around! The rice tasted re-heated. I ended up throwing away my meal. Will not be going back.
Never been here but if it's the original then it would be even better than the one in Dallas Love Field
The food, blah. No flavor and extremely over cooked. The noodles we're very mushy, the sliced carrot was stiff as a board, worst thing was this slime that seems to coat the vegetables! Glad it was all vegetarian, but I won't be back. Just a shame bc this mall is slowly trying to rebuild it self, but can't seem to keep the things that make it great! The lady making our plate was extremely nice and knowledgeable about what is in the food and how it's cooked... Maybe the food was just out to long by the time we came by for a plate. Paid 20$ for two veggie plates and a 16 oz Sprite... Also to much money for such lousy food.
6.48 for the side dish size. Rice tasted what i would expect from a buffet. Inside the mall... So what can you expect. I would recommend another location near by but idk if they will remove my opinion . egg roll house is where its at.
Found a bug in my food won't be back
FOOD WAS HORRIBLE AND OLD!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN. A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
Ordered vegetarian roll and was given chicken . When confronted they acknowledged that it was indeed chicken what they had. No apologies or refund for the food. Food was old and perhaps reheated..
The food here is okay. I've had it a couple of times. It's nothing to brag about, but not terrible either. The establishment gets 2 stars from me because the customer service is absolutely horrendous. The man and woman who operate the place are two of the rudest people I've ever come across. They also seem to pick and choose who they're rude to (depending on what you're wearing/age/skin color). I've seen it happen BOTH times I've waited in line there. Despicable. Won't be dining here again for that reason alone.
I've been coming to the Irving mall to eat Manchu Wok for about 5 years. Recently their staff changed the lady and guy that used to work there were kind. I noticed that the spicy noodles don't taste the same anymore. Overall I would say try the place out its worth it, plus the food is always hot.

The owners are extremely rude and stingy. The man who I assume owns the place lied to me about the price of my plate, even though up on the menu it was priced differently. Aside from that, the portions are insanely small. It's like you're taking the food from their home fridge or something--they don't want to give it to you. The prices aren't cheap nor too expensive, but for the portion size, it's outrageous. Don't eat here.
I have been coming to the irving mall for almost 12 years and eating at manchu wok. The owners are so sweet and caring. You get really good portion sizes for the price. The food is amazing, especially the orange chicken and spicy bourbon chicken.
it is prety good for a mall food court resaraunt, i like them
Love the Bourbon Chicken. The only place I know to get it at.
I cringed every time I eat here. And the only reason I keep coming back is because I work in the mall and there is no other options. The food was nothing special at all. But this place has since change management and MAN has the food and service improve by a million. I swear their orange chicken and Bourbon chicken is the best thing in the world. If you catch it when it's fresh, it is freaking amazing. I tell all my Co workers about it and they all agreed. I also notice their business is a lot better which tells me that I'm not the only one. I will be back. TOMORROW.
Stopped by with a craving for Chinese. Price was fair and the taste was average or so. The couple that run this franchise were working. The reason I know it was them was because the guy looked to be in pain when scooping the food. Stingy best describes the guy plating the food. He was extra careful to ensure I got seven or eight small pieces with each entree I ordered and two micro scoops of white rice. Really?...white rice is a 30 to 50 cents to make. The wife claimed the mall did not allow them to offer chop sticks so I got a 3 cent spork and a single tiny napkin. Try subway or another shop if you are hungry...this is not your place. Wanted to grab a cheese steak sandwich next door when I was done eating. :-(
I went to the mall and saw this establishment. I stood there looking at the menu and the food displayed. The lady, who by the way is the only one there and so am I, didn't ask what I want or what. It's like a couple of minutes and still she didn't approach me.So I walked out of it. The food doesn't look that great anyways, I'm glad I ate someplace else. Never going back to this food establishment unless I'm really dying of hunger.
I was in the mall and needed lunch. Next time I will just do subway. I got Sesame Chicken and Lemon Chicken they didn't look the same but they tasted exactly the same, overly sweet "where the chicken mess. The noodles had some kind of weird taste and I'm glad that was all I got and I shouldn't have gotten that. There's bad Chinese which you eat anyway and there is this which you just eat enough of because you are starving, but never again.
I felt like I was reinforcing the asian stereotype here in Texas ordering food from here, but I couldn't help it. Sometimes I just get a craving for really bad chinese food. Oh the chow mein and orange chicken... so horrible, but hits the spot sometimes.. just like those rice bowls at jack in the box, lol. It's kind of like watching trashy tv. I know it's horrible, but I just can't stop myself. hahah, let me tell you - this was not good food... but I loved it :)
