I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to McAlister’s Deli today. It’s been a while since I’ve been. Wanted some soup and my daughter mentioned McAlister’s. I agreed and we Witt the one in Irving. I had frequently visited the one in Texarkana. Had forgotten how good the food was. Had the Broccoli Cheddar Soup with a Reuben sandwich. The soup was hot and hit the spot. The Reuben sandwich was so satisfying. And the service was amazing and unexpected. The restaurant manager, Mary, was so cordial and went beyond my expectations. She was inviting and treated me like I feel she would have treated a close friend or a family member. She was helpful in the ordering process, explaining to me how I could get the best bang for my buck. The restaurant appeared clean and neat. The atmosphere was pleasant and it was not crowded when we went. Therefore seating was very accommodating. I plan to add McAlister’s in Irving to my routine restaurant list and visit them more routinely, frankly because of the customer service.

I am so irritated. I’ve never been here before and a coworker was talking about it so I decided to go grab something on my lunch, I get a soup and a salad. I got all the way back to work and they didn’t even give me a fork for my salad so now I can’t eat.

Great customer service! Me and my group came in with 30+ people in line. The wait was short and our food was brought out SUPER fast. Staff were nice and frequently checked in on our needs. Food was delicious and all orders were correct.

Worst food in the town. Pizza is bad. Cheese spud not cooked properly. Salas dressing was not the one we asked for.
Has to be the worst mcalisters in the state. Gave me half a sandwich, something was wrong with the soup. Tasted like they put something in it that wasn’t broccoli cheddar. Avoid this location.

Everything but the food was great! I am an avid Cuban enjoyer and finally got around to trying the Cuban here at McAlisters. First of all, there was WAY too much mustard. All I could taste was lower quality yellow mustard which, I know it comes on the sandwich but the amount on mine was overkill. Second, the meats were sopping wet with whatever they were sitting in and it made me bread a soggy mess. The red velvet cake was delicious but it’s kind of difficult to mess up a cake…so no points from me. Plus, I’ve had better. My wife’s salad tasted like the greens had not been washed and her chicken was cold. I don’t know much about salads, but she did not like it at all. Will not be eatting here again any time soon…
