We have always loved Mexican Sugar and take my team from work when in town always. The food this night was disappointing as well as the service! The mole was too spicy to even eat, like it had been thrown together instead of cooked slowly to develop the true mole flavors. Drinks were just mediocre. Was not impressed this visit like we have been in the past.
We always love the food at this restaurant. There is a wide variety on the menu. The noise level is high so it is hard to hear each other. But if you go earlier in the day or very late at night it's fine. Other than that, the ambience is wonderful.
It was super loud and the fajita meat was tough and chewy this time. The margaritas, the chips, the salsa and the queso were fantastic. We had the beef fajitas this time. Last time we did the ribeye - will most likely go chicken the next time or maybe some enchiladas.
