Genuinely, genuinely the best croissants and baked goods. I used to be able to get these pastries closer to me due to a wholesale partner, but am sad to find that they no longer sell them there. Unfortunately, Montecito Baking Co. has ruined me...I will be making the almost hour drive to buy these pastries because my god are they the best in the DFW. SUCH a hidden gem that quite frankly needs much more recognition in the metroplex!

I’ve been to Paris France and I think these are the best pastries you could possibly expect in Texas.

Dear lord. I’m hesitant to even share a review in case these ladies get discovered and too big for Las Colinas and leave us. I stopped in on a whim because my office building is nearby and Y’ALL. Walking in the front door of the high rise, you can’t see this place or any signs for it… but you can follow the smell of warm, buttery bread.

It was intimidating going into an office building lobby that isn’t mine but IT WAS 100% WORTH THE DISCOMFORT. There are trays and trays of huge, freshly rolled croissants, waiting to go in the oven.

You’re greeted with a kind smile. They make their breads and pastries in house and it makes ALL the difference.

I ordered a breakfast croissant (bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese and egg however you want - I chose fried with a jammy yolk). Perfectly seasoned and cooked egg, crisp ripe veggies, thick bacon, and a flaky, hot croissant with toasted cheese.

I grabbed a pastry to go that was seasoned with cardamom (I believe) and as I took the first bite, I actually said, “OH MY GOD” out loud because it’s THAT good. The texture, the light spice flavor that’s not overpowering but not shrinking into the background.

Also, the cafe overlooks the waterway and has pretty views.

I will make the trip over and over to this place. 100% recommend everyone check this out.

These two kind ladies are some of the best bakers around. The pastries are incredibly delicious. The only downside of this place is the hefty prices, but I'd still come back.

The food is FANTASTIC, and the ladies behind the register & kitchen are so nice. All the bread is made in house, walking up to the doors you can smell the bread being baked. I had a burger that was so good I ate it all before remembering I wanted to take a picture. The fresh baked pastries are incredible and so irresistible. Do yourself the favor and check this place out. Its inside the big building Canal Center same floor as the lobby towards the back. Trust me once you walk in the building you'll know you're in the right place with that amazing fresh baked smell in the air.

A must try for anyone looking for great coffee, great pastries or great breakfast and well worth the trip. Possibly the best pastries in the city and definitely the best croissants in my book. Just a mile down from the Toyota Music Factory, this gem lies tucked away in the lobby floor of the Canal Centre business centre with a relaxing view of the canals. Gram-worthy food that tastes as good as it looks and our child loved their shuffle board table. I'll stop gushing here, but suffice it to say we'll be back.

Parking: If you can't find something in the little circle lot right outside just continue into the parking garage to find free parking.

Kid-friendliness: Fairly kid friendly with supervision of course. There's a shuffle board table and plenty of space. If they get antsy, the canal walking paths are right outside and its very pretty out there.
