If I could give no stars I would simply bc customer service is everything! Today was my first and last time stopping at this hole in the wall. As I were getting out the car a guy from the inside was walking to the door than scattered away, as I pull on the door the door was locked. The door was locked, he came to lock the door at 3pm when they were not suppose tp close for another 6/7 hours. Not only did he lock the door he sat and watched me pull the door and looked through the window all while peaking from the kitchen while texting. WOW, a simple we're closing early today could have went a long way!! I would never spend my money in an establishment that condones this behavior!

Soul food fish shrimp and chicken. The food tasted great and was seasoned very well. The little boy that took our order seemed a little young but he knew his job and omg his personality was over the top and very entertaining

Never again!!! Been coming fairly regularly to this establishment for the past six months or so, but never again. Last two times I've been in at lunch has completely turned me off. Young man working the counter is disrespectful, lazy, and more interested in his phone then helping customers. Saw two dine in customers, in the ten minutes I was there, have to get up and get there own silverware. When one gentleman asked for his drink the young man just simply pointed at the coke fridge. The other asked for some mustard and the kid just threw it up on the counter at him. I came to this catfish place over several others because they have a very good original tartar sauce, NOT today out of your signature sauce at 1230. No bags for Togo orders and only one of the three sides available I tried to order. Positives: Young lady in the kitchen was working hard and getting orders out timely. Food is still good and an exceptional value. My view walk in the door. If you see about a 15 year old young man. TURN AROUND AND LEAVE!!!

I was in the area and saw this lil place so I popped in for lunch. I normally don't eat at a new place without reading the reviews first and maybe I should stick with that.... If you are looking to grab a quick lunch, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE to eat. It took a long time to get the food that I ordered to go. It is good that the food is cooked fresh and not just sitting under a lamp, but if you have a short period of time, don't do it. The young lady (teenager) that took my order was not super friendly but acceptable. I ordered the 3 shrimp, one catfish that came with fries, hush puppies and a drink for $9. My drink choice was Kool Aid. (There are no fountain drinks. You can get bottled water, a can of soda or Kool Aid with the basket. Refills on Kool aid are .50) i also order the lunch special which was 4 wing drummettes with fries and seasoning for $5. I chose lemon pepper. I had been waiting on my food for a while and it was hot in the restaurant so I the young boy who was now at the counter if I could have my drink now. I told him that I had the Kool Aid. He yelled to the back cup of ice! They brought up a cup and he passed it to me. I filled the cup with Kool Aid (self Service) and took a sip. I could tell that it had some sugar in it, but I wanted mine a little sweeter so I asked if they had any sugar packets. He said "No." I must say that I was taken aback by his attitude about me asking for sugar. I asked if he had sweet n low or any other sweetener, he said "no." I asked well how did you sweeten this if you don't have sugar. He said we do and we put it in there already. I said well it is not sweet enough for me. He just shrugged and said you're the first! He did not offer to get sugar from the back or anything to "satisfy the customer." He has to be the rudest kid that I have ever seen allowed to work at the counter of a restaurant. At this point, I have not even tried the food, but I knew that I would not return here. I don't deal with adults with an attitude let alone a child.... I did finally receive my food after about a 40 minute wait. The catfish was two small strips, but they were tasty. If you are looking for a lot of seasoning, this won't have it but if you like cornmeal catfish it was decent. The three shrimp were small. The hush puppies and tartar sauce were great which is what earned my two stars. The wings were ok, but they needed more lemon pepper seasoning. Overall, this place is ok, with the exception of the boy with the horrible attitude. Unfortunately for them customer service is important to me so I won't be back. I choose to spend my resources at places that value and appreciate me as a consumer. I will not patronize a place that allows a kid to be rude to customers. If management is going to allow him to work, they need to train him in manners first and provide him with appropriate customer service training.

Super slow. The lil boy at the register had a horrible attitude. Greens were taste less and had more stems than greens. Mac and can are definitely not home made. The pork chops were do able but not seasoned at all. Fish very greasy

Crispy perfect catfish, I hate when I eat fried catfish and it is soggy. They have a secret homemade tartar sauce you have to ask for. Food is delicious and portions are great. I have uber eats and pick up a couple time and always same level of greatness.

Love the family that ownes the place. Ms. Kay loves her customers. I go in because the food is good. But I really like going in to argue with the young man that she has working the counter. He's a laugh a minute. The fish is my favorite.

Food was horrible and it was so hot while waiting. Upset stomachs afterwards... Pass next time....

Found this place about a year ago and can't get enough of it! Great food... great service. You are treated well by the staff. If you haven't been here to eat yet, hurry up and do so.

Man man when I tell good ole fish.. chicken is like home. Eat there twice in two days. And coming back for more. With friends and family. Especially lil man at the counter 👍 plus blues in the background 😂

Place was homey but the catfish was super burnt and tasted poor. Ate it with tartar sauce but the bad taste was still there. Chicken would probably be better. Fries are good and good small atmosphere inside. People are nice.

One of my favorite places to order catfish. The food is made to order so it's always hot and fresh. The cooks/owners are always pleasant. The only drawback is they rarely answer the phone so I rarely get to order over phone and pick up.
