OUZI MEDITERRANEAN GRILL

My daughter and I came upon this restaurant during an unexpected layover in Dallas. The restaurant was open only for takeout, but because it was not a busy time, they offered to serve us at an outdoor table. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the service friendly. Fresh warm pita bread, baba ganouj and the especially crisp and light falafel were highlights. What a treat!

I visited the restaurant twice, I almost tried all the food in the menu. I really love the lamb steak tenderloin, shish tawook. The lamb kabob is good too but it was little different from me because I used to eat beef kabob. The service is very good, we were 15 people and the lady was taking the order very smoothly. Waiters were checking us continuously to bring us drinks, food, more bread.You can order and pay later, or pay when you order, they are flexible.

The place is authentic. There are good efforts put in place from decorations and furniture standpoint. Location is also great and the place is spacious from inside, AC'ed and music was really cool.Speaking of food, I tried the Shawarma plate, Kunafah and Turkish Coffee.
