This place is sooooo good! I didn’t get to take pics because I was so hungry I forgot. I will be back to update with pics! We got the pineapple curry with veggies and coconut fried rice with extra crispy tofu, both were so flavorful, and spicy level 2 wasn’t too bad. Got a side of chili 🌶️ to add more spice! One of the top Thai places I’ve been to! On top of it all it was very clean, quaint, and cute, the staff were so sweet and very attentive!

Highly recommended. The food is authentic, delicious. We had pork larb, papaya salad, Lao sausage, shrimp pad thai, beef jerky, green curry chicken, tom yum- all good! The waitress was so helpful with our order and other staff was attentive, always filling our water. When they heard (we sang :)) that we were celebrating my mom’s 85th bday, we got a complimentary dessert - sticky rice with mangoes. It was yummy! Thank you so much.

What a pleasant surprise. Incredible service, delicious food, good prices, and really good boba tea as well! I went with the Khao Moo Daeng for my entree and it was so fresh and flavorful. Absolutely worth a visit.

So, this place certainly looks like a hole in the wall. The inside ambience is not remarkable either. However, the food is authentic. The chefs and servers know their food and we loved every item. Portions are not super great but decent. Spice levels can be adjusted as we wish.

Padaek in Irving is a flavor explosion that deserves a standing ovation! Tucked away at 120 S Main St, this Laotian gem is serving up some of the best Thai and Laotian dishes I’ve ever tasted, and I’m still dreaming about their Tom Kha and Tom Yum soups. The Tom Kha is a creamy, coconutty masterpiece with such depth of flavor—lemongrass, galangal, and lime leaves dance together in a way that’s so complex, it’s like a symphony in a bowl. The Tom Yum? Oh, it’s a spicy, sour knockout with that same unforgettable richness, punching you with bold, authentic Thai vibes. I’ve had these soups everywhere, and Padaek’s versions are hands-down the best I’ve ever tasted.
Then there’s the pineapple fried rice—sweet, savory, and studded with juicy pineapple chunks that make every bite a tropical party. It’s so good, I’m tempted to write it a love letter. The spice levels here are perfection; I go for a 5 because I love a fiery challenge, and they nail it with just the right burn. But if you prefer mild, they’re spot-on with a no-spice or 1-star request, sticking faithfully to your preference without losing an ounce of flavor. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable and the carryout is quick and easy. Padaek is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, soul-warming Southeast Asian food in Irving. Support this local treasure—you won’t regret it

We've searched high and low for decent Thai food in Las Colinas, which, surprisingly, is lacking. We finally found Padaek. It's about as good as it gets. Quaint location in downtown Irving, which is undergoing a revitalization effort. The food was reasonably priced, the ingredients were fresh. We'll be back.

Pumpkin curry!!! Few places make it and they knocked it out of the park. The Lao rolls may be one of the best things I've had in a long time. So good!
