Got stocked in DFW on this madness of a weekend, and with my parents, so best I can do is to find them some comfort food.
Not bad at all Pho Que Huong, in Irving TX!

Dinner before my trip. I kind of stumbled across this restaurant while trying to get back to the hotel.

I had the number 9 Brisket and flank Beef Noodle Pho with a lemonade.

I was attempting to use the chopsticks, and the lady who served me must have seen me struggling to eat my meal as she brought a fork and placed it on the table, for which I was thankful.

The Pho was delicious by itself, and overall, it was an enjoyable meal.

Parking: It is a shopping mall, so there was plenty of parking.

I came in asking for a thai tea to go. I asked the older lady taking care of me to do light ice because i have a cough. She gave a look and only took like three pieces of ice out lol?. Then the kicker is she didnt fill it up all the way. There was already a lot of ice and then she left a whole inch of space. I paid almost 5$ for half a cup of thai tea and mostly ice. It was delicious just disappointed in the service. She stingy with itttt!

This pho location is very nice and open. We got both the pho dac biet and the bun thit nuong cha gio (pork over rice vermicelli, with eggroll).Pho Dac BietPros:Broth is very flavorful. You don't need to put hoison sauce or Sriracha, but you can if you like. The sauces made the broth taste even nicer. Veggies are fresh, and the meat is tender.Cons:N/ABun Thit Nuong Cha GioPros:Veggies are fresh, and the fish sauce that you add is not too overwhelming. The fish sauce isn't too fishy, so it has a nice balance of flavors. Vermicelli is thin, and pork has flavor. Eggroll is crunchy.Cons:The pork pieces are cut thin, so there's a lack of char on the meat. I would prefer thicker pieces with a little bit of char. Eggroll has nice flavor, but it's not the most traditional. I like the shorter eggrolls that are a bit fatter. This eggroll was long and thin.Overall, it's a great pho shop. We would definitely come back for the pho any day!
