This store has got to get its act together 20mins+ to get your food. One in our group ordered online on the way to the store, and it took her longer to get it than ours.

Pulled up to the drive thru, woman said to move to the window to order. Moved to the window. Not only did they not open the window, no one was even AT the window. Food is 1 star because it tasted like the nothing that we got from them.

I ordered a 3piece combo at work to get sent here and I have two pieces of chicken !! So I paid for 3 pieces and received a leg and barely a thigh !! Do better !!now I’m stuck at work still STARVED. And another thing ! This location is ALWAYS rude !! The Reviews dont lie they don’t care !! That’s why I stopped going and tried Uber but now they’re just being Petty !

I just left this Popeyes and I will never buy chicken from here again. As I’m standing in line I noticed the none of the employees had on gloves. I looked at the one employee that is handling the raw chicken and flour with his bare hands. I asked why he didn’t have on gloves and her response was. “That’s just how they do it”.

First off- I absolutely love Popeyes chicken.This Popeyes location in South Irving on Beltline Rd. is the worst Popeyes location in DFW. The chicken is always old, over-cooked, and never fresh and hot.
The oil needs to be changed badly and it leave a disgusting flavor on the chicken but they obviously do not care. The sides are awful and does not even taste the same as other Popeye locations. The red beans rice is tasteless and the mashed potatoes and gravy is disgusting as the gravy is so thin and watery. The workers can barely speak English which is insane especially in the drive thru. The location in North Irving off of 635 is only slightly better. Save your money and go to another city besides the South Irving Popeyes and drive to Dallas or get KFC instead. I promise you that you will 100% be disappointed eating here. I would assume that this restaurant is not a franchise because if it was, then they clearly do not care about their customers, serving this awful food. The location should be closed and shut down for stealing Irving residents money. Churchs chicken on Story Rd. has muuuuuuuuuuch better chicken and sides than any Popeyes location in Irving. I hope someone at that location reads this review because that location off Beltline is an absolute crime scene and management should re-evaluate who they hired because other Popeyes locations outside of Irving are awesome, so why can the Irving location be just as awesome those outside of Irving. Do better Popeyes in South Irving because you just lost another customer. I wouldn't eat at this location if the food was free.
This is the second location I've been to and the chicken is always old .so no more Popeyes for me..so sad can't get what u pay for anymore

01/20/25 7:pm What a horrible experience. The drive-through display is completely black. So went to park so I could look at a menu but the lobby doors were locked. Went back to the drive-through and asked for some help with combo #s so I could see what to order for myself and my family. The Spanish lady could bearly speak English. I asked if she could repeat and help me again and was responded "We got chicken, what kind you want?" Then radio silence when I asked, "Hello, can you help me and repeat the combo #s?" Nothing, no help. Very disappointing customer service.

Terrible service and customer service. Both the host and the manager.
Waited 10mins before I walked out because no one greeted me or the 3 people in line ahead of me either. Worker's were busy speaking Spanish and not acknowledging the customers inside the store. I will not be returning to this location ever.

Lady took my order then answered her phone. Got home order totally wrong. This location does this frequently. Complaints sent to corporate office. They do respond but hasnt rectified the problems.

Refuse to honor their rewards deal, because I only had to purchase a large drink to get the free meal! That’s crazy work! Definitely emailing corporate!
