this is the slowest damn popeyes ever. get it together. i know it’s probably because the store is understaffed, overworked, and under paid but oooooh my god. i ordered ahead on the app and still spent my entire lunch break waiting on food. won’t be coming back

Update 2/14/2024: - I ordered a large red beans and rice which had a sour smell & taste to it. It tasted nothing like how red beans and rice should taste. It also smelled like it was made 4 days ago or that it was made and sat all day in the Styrofoam container. I threw the food away. I'm never patronizing this location again and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND coming here under any circumstances. They need to be investigated.This location sucks, they are constantly out of food and they won’t tell you, they’ll give you something you didn’t order to mask it as something you did. So always check your order with them. I ordered a 5 piece and received 3 chicken boxes in the bag, so I thought everything was there, but no. They put one piece of chicken in two different boxes to make it look like the full order, like who schemes on food?They claim the location is drive through and carry out, well that’s a lie. The door is always locked. This location is lucky there isn’t another Popeyes in the area or they would get put out of business based on all the other negative reviews.

Imagine pulling up through the drive thru at 5 pm on a Friday evening and THEY'RE CLOSED FOR 45 MINUTES FOR A MEETING!!! NO SIGNS NOTHING TELLING YOU THEY'RE CLOSED, SO YOU'RE WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE YOUR ORDER THEN THEY FINALLY COME ON TO TELL YOU THEY'RE CLOSED. LONG LINE OF CARS BEHIND ME AND EACH ONE HAVING TO WAIT TO BE TOLD THEY'RE CLOSED. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK

This is the only fast food restaurant nearby where you can get a chicken sandwich that tastes like chicken and looks like chicken when you bite into it! People behind the counter and at the drive-thru are almost always smiling and pleasant.Inside seating is typical fast food. Weirdly, no condiments, silverware, or napkins are set out for diners--you have to ask.Parking: If you park out front, watch out for people zooming to the drive-thru lane.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair spots for parking are right out front, curb cut-outs are there, but you'll likely need somebody to hold the door if that's difficult for you. The doors are not automated.
After a long day at work it is super disappointing to not only get an order missing a side and to get the wrong order. They gave me chicken strips rather than fried chicken that was ordered. If you’re out of food, just say so that way I’m not wasting my time and energy and money.
