I came in at 7pm. I got brisket and a rib. Considering the time of day I was impressed it wasn't dried out. The sides were good. As I walked in I could smell the smoke. It's an attractive restaurant. But, my only complaint was that I didn't taste smoke in the meat. But it was still good food. I'll probably come back and give em another shot.

We stopped for dinner November 1 2021,Our friend enjoyed the brisquit a lot, I liked the ribs though some were VERY Dry and sadly my wife ordered the burnt ends and they were INEDIBLE, they tasted like kerosene/creosole and some so dry they felt like wood. I liked they Mac & cheese though was a bit on the bland side, The potato salad was pretty OK, and the Cole slaw needed seasoning a bit of acid perhaps some sweet. Over all we we disappeared in Post Oak Smokehouse and the half hour trip we took to try them cuz they had a 4 star Yelp review. We won't be back.

Brisket is juicy and well seasoned I always get the brisket sandwiches and that's more than enough brisket for one person. The sides need some work best side is the Mac and cheese. Give this place a try your won't regret it.

I'm from St. Louis, MO so I'm picky about BBQ but this spot is tasty! The brisket is tender + falling off the bones + pretty decent portion. The sides are HUGE (compared to STL or Cali) and tasted better than most BBQ spots I've tried. If I'm ever in the Dallas area again, this would be my go-to BBQ spot. The only downside is the sauce, no one makes BBQ sauce like STL/KC, MO.

Brisket was amateur. Ribs/sausage were not, might be their best items. Mac n cheese was legit. Green beans were missing something. 2 slices of stale bread anyone? I'd go back strictly for the ribs and Mac n cheese but... why when there's so many VBQ joints to choose from? Step yallz game up this is TEXAS.

This was my first taste of BBQ after landing back in the USA. It satisfied my BBQ longing that has lasted for almost two years (since my last visit on this side of the pond). We shared a two meat, two side platter. You can't go wrong with ribs and brisket and they did them well. They have a house BBQ sauce that's mild as well as a spicy version. Their peach cobbler reminded me of family gatherings. Good stuff all around!

The meat was very tender, but it lacked favor, the BBQ was less then average, it didn't add to the favor of the meat, it took away from it. The potato salad had no favor, the bake beans were too spicy, but the cole slaw was good. The brisket was juicy and very tender, and so were the ribs. The staff was great and the place was clean.

Oh...My...God...I LOVE this place! I love their smoked chicken, I love their smoked turkey, I love their loaded fries, and just everything about this place screams out flavor! If you've never had barbecue, I would ALWAYS suggest trying this place first. Every single cut of meat has a delicious smoky flavor and is cooked perfectly. I'd come here every day if I could. You'll be licking the meat juices off your plate when you finish because it's THAT good!

Had the 2 meat plate and was a bit let down. The brisket while quite nice with the ratio of fat to keep it juicy. The ribs were dried out and a bit too tough. The Mac and cheese was also over cooked but the chicken potato salad was great. So I'm 50/50 on the whole meal but the place was clean and wait time was minimal so those are all positives.

The barbecue is amazing and the staff is outstanding. Their beef ribs will change your life, and their prime rib could convert a vegan.

Been disappointed by Hard 8 lately so we gave this place a try. Will most definitely return! All of the sides were delish!! Homemade BBQ sauce was good and we didn't use that much. (Meat didn't need it) Portions are huge ...neither of us finished..so yay leftovers! We could have easily split one 2 meat plate and been satisfied. Great gob Post Oak!!

The service was great and the food/sides were awesome! Not to mention super generous we had leftovers for a whole other meal the following day and it was just as good! Plus they'll ask if you want a lean cut of brisket which my husband appreciated. We'll be back for sure!
