Such a great hostess made our Mother’s Day celebration extra special. The foods are amazing also the ambience is 10/10. You won’t be disappointed. I loved it.
Food is delicious, even vegetarian food feels yummy.must try
Next to other restaurants. Has a variety of options. I see many bringing their own drinks.
Food was served fresh, ontime, and great service. Highly recommend!
We ordered veg platter, mushrooms corn roll and paneer cheese roll. All was good except dahi kabab in veg platter were over cooked. Nice ambience and my family enjoyed rest of the food. Will definitely recommend others to try.
I ordered Murg Tikka (kinda tandoori chicken) from them, it made me sick, I got throat infection
This is one of the very few Indian restaurants in DFW area - that is authentic north indian... true kebabs - the food is amazing!!
Almost all other indian restaurants in dfw area have pretty much the same South indian tasting food, spicy ....& boring.
Please try here, enjoy the food, and please convince the owner not to change their. The food is divine here, authentic & byob.
Don’t miss this gem if you’re in Dallas. I’ve visited many Indian restaurants in Dallas and in London. Supposedly the Indian food in London is as good and even better than in India itself. But, Rumali Cafe in Dallas is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Try the Khumb Mutter Makhana or the Palak Ka Kofta Curry. They are my favorites!!
My brother picked me up at DFW and we decided to try this restaurant on our way out of town. We’re both former NYers and we enjoyed many great meals in Little India on East 4th street in our younger years.
Our meal at Rumali was delicious! Flavorful, varied and a good amount of spice. We sampled the vegetable patties, a smoked chicken kebab and the highlight, their signature goat curry. It truly felt and tasted like a signature dish. Oh and I would be remiss in not mentioning the roti and paratha breads. So important in Indian cuisine to soak up all the deliciousness of the sauces!
The service was attentive and helpful. We asked several questions about the menu and the server definitely guided us to our choices.
We had some leftovers that shares with my mom. She also gave the goat 2 thumbs up. I look forward to my next meal at Rumali.

Nice food, excellent service!!!
We were a party of 4 and the atmosphere was very noisy and crowded. The food came out late and wait was long, but server apologized for it later which was appreciative. All in all nice food and service!!
What a bad service and bad food with a 200 dollars bill was very very unsatisfactory, the wait was very very long and they did not refill the water even once
The meat dishes were all filled with bones and oily gravy, I would give 0 rating if possible, the place is very very noisy, folks please avoid this restaurant it is really very expensive for the service and ambience they provide.
Very disappointed with the quality of food... Spoiled cut onions.. salty dal maharani..
We tried kakori kabaab, roll& chicken sulla...all were very delicious soft fresh.
