After a long famished week at Vegas, I was here.
The young lads who take your orders are quite impressive in their courtesy. Ms Shravani who take care of us gave us a very warm reception.
They customized every item as per my dietary requirements.
Food taste, Ambience, reception were amazing. In fact I had my next meal with them before leaving.
Great place for authentic Telugu food.

It takes a lot for me to come to dallas and not go for a Hyderabadi style non veg dum biryani. Since the time I started trying simply south, any of their locations, I fell in love with the food, ambience and everything. This place is a gem! A must try

The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Service was quick too.
I really enjoyed my meal and will come back again. Highly recommend!

It’s a simple South Indian-style menu! I’m obsessed with so many favorite dishes at one dining place. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a complete South Indian food experience. I highly recommend it. You won’t regret trying your favorite dishes there. After all, life is all about food, and choosing the right restaurant before having a bite is crucial.

Mansa from the serving staff was outstanding! Extremely polite, attentive and always smiling! The food was IMMACULATE!! I mean 10 out of 5 from the appetizer to the sweets everything was fresh and on point! By Far the Best place in DFW for South Indian food, also not too overwhelming with fake Masalas or oily neither! It makes complete sense why they are always busy and have a waiting list! Highly recommend booking your reservation ahead of time!!

Today I visited Simply South Vegetarian Restaurant, which is quite hyped in the area, but unfortunately my experience wasn’t pleasant.
Right from the beginning, I didn’t feel a positive vibe from the wait staff. They placed a tissue/spoon holder and chutney stand on the table that were visibly unclean and had food stains on them.
We ordered cream of tomato soup, masala dosa, and chole bhature. However, everything was served at the same time. While we were still having the soup, the dosa and puri became cold and soggy. They didn’t give us time to enjoy the soup peacefully before bringing the rest of the food, which affected the overall dining experience.
Because the food turned cold, we couldn’t really enjoy it as expected. For the food and service, I would rate it 2 ⭐️.

Worst experience. FIRST OF ALL NO MENU. Only digital menu and seniors will struggle a lot. Food quality has dropped and prices have gone up a lot . This was 3rd time but worst time compared to first 2 times. Be ready to spoil your stomach next day . Quality worst day by day .

Food here is great. Service has declined so much. Servers are rude and lack basic mannerism. The restaurant has the potential to be a top tier restaurant but fails to upkeep their restaurant and train their employees.

Authentic south indian restaurant which serves only vegetarian dishes. All items were tasty and delicious. Although the name is 'Simply South', their Punjabi dishes were equally good. Service was bit poor due to weekend and valentine's day. Nice ambiance. Overall very good experience.

This review is for customers.
I have already raised these concerns in store few times but nothing has changed.
Over the past few months during breakfast, the quality and service have consistently declined.
Today at 9 AM, Combo 2 took 35 minutes. Idly was missing again, pongal was overly salty, and masala dosa was very ordinary. Service remains poor, and basic hospitality is missing — staff do not attend to tables and they are not ready to share any positive vibes as if we came as burden to their workload...
Taste has dropped. Service has dropped. Yet menu prices have increased — why?
It honestly feels like the focus is more on collecting money than delivering a proper dining experience.
After spending several Saturday mornings here recently, I feel disappointed. If you want to start your weekend peacefully, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
Went for the 1st time on the Valentine’s Day.
Had to wait for 1.5 hours. The waiteres suggested “The spice and everything nice” combo which contains mushroom pepper fry, pachimirchi paneer pulav and mango tres leches. Mushroom pepper fry was below avg and the other two were horrible. This combo is not for the people who cannot handle spice. Even after telling the waitress that we don’t handle spice, she still suggested this. There were hardly 5-6 tiny paneer pieces. Moreover, the food was cold and not hot. We even told the waitress that the food is too spicy, she replied saying, “oh is it”.
On top, It’s not a mango tres leche. It’s just a vanilla cake soaked in mango lassi. This was $32. Food was neither worth the price nor the wait time. It’s not simply south, rather it can be called as “simply waste”. Over hyped. Beware…. ❌❌❌
