Walked in the store to ask a simple question. And the manager gave the barista an ugly look when she was trying to be helpful. The atmosphere felt so awkward. Definitely go through the drive through and don’t go in if the manager is there. I don’t think she cares about customer service or making her customers feel welcome.

Very cozy and warm atmosphere, but be mindful of this location. It's located in the middle of downtown Irving, so alot of tourists, travelers, drifters and homeless lingering around.

This location needs to train employees on discernment. I walk in, clearly a construction worker and want to wash my hands before anything but am told I have to “order first” before I will be granted access to the restroom, which has a numeric keypad on the handle. I understand there is a vagabond issue in the area, but if I’m dressed in a clean hi viz shirt, 511 pants, Ariat boots, gold chain, DAVIS CRANE hat, and IPhone 17 in hand……I’m pretty sure I don’t look like a homeless person….just a blue collar worker who has been at work since 0600 (it’s 1900 at the time of this interaction) and still have a few more hours and just need a pick-me-up and clean hands when I get to the register. I will NEVER frequent this location again and just drink 7-11 coffee when in this area. 7Brew and Dutch Bros taste better anyways!

I had a really disappointing experience today. I went in and waited a long time for my order, but the staff seemed completely unorganized. The cashier stood there and acted like I wasn’t even there, and when someone else came up, they ignored me as well.
Eventually, the cashier asked what I needed, and when I told her I was waiting for my order, she looked confused and said she would check — but then just stood around with no clear action. I moved over to the pickup area and continued waiting as people who ordered after me received their food.
Finally, another employee asked for my name again, and only then did they hand me my order. It was frustrating to be ignored and kept waiting while others were served ahead of me. The lack of communication and customer service was really disappointing.

Came back after a while— with a sub-par experience. I must congratulate the leaders and members at this location for turning things around for the best.

Clean store, stellar restroom. Impeccable speed— given the hectic volume at the drive through. The baristas warmly greet everyone and are very personable.

Glad you are back to being wonderful place to visit. Cheers to the next visit.

Went in today got a good coffee and the young Hispanic/maybe Asian young man with glasses is always very friendly &helpful but the rest of the staff stinks especially the rude tall white young lady at the register. She acts like it’s such a hassle for her to do her job-do us a favor if you don’t like it then quit. Ps Kai the manager is cool 😎

I have been curious about something…. WHY does Starbucks offer Customizations on their app, when the baristas DO NOT read and follow what is printed on the labels?

I use to think it was only at my usual Starbucks location that the baristas pay no attention to what’s printed on the labels. Nope, it has happened over 90% of the time at every location I have purchased my drinks. I ALWAYS customize my drinks. I HARDLY ever receive my drink as ordered!

WHY is that?

I clearly request my Iced Caramel Macchiato to have the cup lined with Mocha. What do I receive instead…. No Mocha at all, and my cup line with Caramel.

9/23/2025, edit to add: Starbucks replied stating in the reply… “For future visits, please know that any Starbucks partner (employee) would be happy to remake your beverage at no additional cost.”

Starbucks, as much as I appreciate your willingness to remake my drink for me, my husbands picks my drink up and brings it home to me. Thus it is NOT convenient for him to turn around and go back to your store to have my drink re-made according to the label. It would be much more convenient if the drink was made correctly in the first place.

I think God is testing my patience, and this place was a test. I walk in and there were 2 ppl in line, so I go past and ask nicely for the code to the bathroom.. Marizza or however it’s spelled rolls her eyes and say “you have to purchase something to use the bathroom” .. I’m well aware of the policy, but you thought I was going to wait in line, then order, THEN ask to go to the bathroom??????? If I have to go NOW… mind you, I had a pick up order…. So she breathes hard and says “the code is…” but I just declined the code at that point bc I would probably go in there and make them have to work for their money today.

But I realized I’m not just tripping, I came to their google reviews and it’s MULTIPLE review about the poor attitudes of the employees.

Seems like the reviews are spot on with what I recently experienced. Service was bad all around. Felt rushed when ordering through drive thru. No patience. Not everyone knows the full starbucks menu. We need a minute. Patience and kindness goes a long way. I asked if I can reload $ on my starbucks app, but she ended up ignoring and charged the credit card I had given her to reload. She also didn't give me a receipt or even asked if I wanted it, so now I cant get credit for my purchase through the app. Before leaving, I tried to get their attention because I needed napkins and an extra straw and they just closed the window. When that happened, one can tell someone heard but choses to ignore you. So I idled there for a bit but no one came to the window. And lastly, as we are picking up the drinks from the drink carrier, the lids were not secured and almost spilled all over the car.

Like all Starbucks outlets, this offers a good location for a quiet afternoon hangout. I tried the White Chocolate Mocha and I loved it.
The staff were very friendly to adults, children and even those who just popped in for an order and also those who choose to sit and work from there.
Never regretted the choice of location.
