Have eaten here before with coworkers when in the area for business and stopped in for sandwich. Food is good, but a person, who I assume is the owner, made a fellow patron extremely uncomfortable forcing him to leave.
The other patron order a sandwich to go and must have changed his mind about leaving because he sat at a table. The older man saw him sit down and forced one of his workers to bring a tray to him to eat on. She brought it out, the customer looked confused and said thank you, but did not use it.
The man then came out from behind the counter mumbled an apology for his worker and then proceeded to pick up this dude's sandwich by the paper and place it on the tray. The guy had no idea what was going on because he had earbuds in.
The older man then made comments about how rude it was and unprofessional for his female worker to have not provided the tray and she should have asked if he was dining in or take out.
He then walked back behind the counter and chastised the female worker again. The other customer slid his sandwich into the bag, walked the tray to the garbage/tray collection area, and promptly left.
The older man calls out as he is leaving to apologize once more for his worker not placing the sandwich on a tray and blamed her for him leaving. Wow...

I usually get the daily special. I always look forward to the new taste of a daily special I’ve never tried. I don’t know how many specials they have, but there is definitely no shortage of new sandwiches to try. The staff is genuinely friendly, and Jami is passionate about the quality of food at the restaurant.
This place is fire? full stop. You gotta try it!
This is The Maverick and it’s an amazing sandwich with 9 meats and 4 cheeses. Be sure to call ahead for this one, but they have many other gourmet sandwiches to choose from that you can order on the spot. Been going there 7 years now and not one bad sandwich there. Nice family run business with excellent staff!
Had chicken korma and it was fantastic I didn’t even know they had it. I thought it was just a subs shop. Best in Irving!
The Cowboy is one of their signature sandwiches. Come check them out and stick around and enjoy the canals of Las Colinas.
Big Brisket patty burger on fresh brioche bun. Option for double patty, any cheese, custom toppings, sizzling bacon, and fried egg.
Best sandwich shop ever New York style like I like it? definitely visit here boss man is also the best person I’ve ever met?
Zero point in ordering ahead. Showed up at the “Pick up” time to watch LITERALLY 15 people come in after me and get their sandwiches made and leave. Meanwhile, no one has a freaking clue what’s going on or where my single sandwich (cold sub might I add) is..in 30 minutes exactly, you couldn’t manage to make a single cold sub?PATHETIC RUDE SERVICE FROM THE OWNER when questioned about the sandwich..

Jami made me one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had. This man is passionate about his sandwiches. Homemade meats and fresh veggies and 99 different kinds of gout sauce bottled by Jami himself. He’s incredibly friendly and only wants to make you the best sandwiches in the world. I think I may have found my newest go to sandwich spot in DFW.
we order from her often. Really enjoy their food.
The website should clearly indicate the order cycle times for each line item in the menu. Alternate option is to hire more part-time "assembly line" workers, if practical.
Zabiha Halal Subs - I don't need to say anything else
