An excellent staff and a very cute restaurant with indoor and outdoor eating area. The food was excellent . A great private area for meeting is in the back of the establishment.Highly recommend. and will be returning.

Glad to see this place open with many of the same friendly faces working there. They've also spaced out the tables/seating. Felt very clean and safe there! We'll be back.

I know this may seem blasphemous to many Taco Diner patrons, but this is where the best cheeseburger in D/FW resides. I come here at least weekly, and it is always AMAZING!!!!Do yourself a favor, ask for Juanito and enjoy!!!

When planning recent weekend getaway to Irving my husband and I were happy to see that Taco Diner was still open during the pandemic. We stopped in for an early dinner and a couple of adult beverages. All the of the staff were wearing masks and we were greeted promptly and asked if we preferred patio or inside. We opted for inside due to the scorching Texas heat lol. We were quickly seated and provided disposable menus. Our server introduced himself, he didn't speak very good English, and unfortunately our Spanish is very poor but we did our best to figure out what we wanted in terms of specials and drinks. The decor of the restaurant is great! It's bright, clean and they somehow make old cinema and modern art come together beautifully! My husband and I shared the crispy brisket enchiladas with veggies. I think had we just gotten brisket enchiladas they would have been phenomenal. The crispy aspect made them very difficult to cut and chew. The rice and veggies were very good as were our drinks. Our service was great and never once had us wondering where our kind waiter was. The only other critique I would add is that the restaurant itself was a bit warm. It didn't by any means ruin our dinner and we'll be back. I mean we do live in Texas after all and we're built for hot temps.

Gone are the old menu and live DJ.Then things had gotten a lot better here since they redid the menu....again ...and I believe new managers, then sadly covid hit.Gone is their all day happy hour on Thursdays.However , we love their Mombo taxis and their tacos are great so we stop by now and again. We keep waiting for things to get back to normal so we can have our weekly Thursday night spot back . It's just a great spot for Ritas and tacos and the staff is always friendly !

The tacos are out of this world! My server Juan was exceptional. The gentleman that sat shared the specialty drinks for the night and helped me make a selection. He was right on the money! It was delicious. I would highly recommend Taco Diner.
