Lacto vegetarians looking for some good Indian street food go to tan chaat house. I used to hear that this restaurant’s quality of food had gone down in the past but something has changed and yesterday we had some very good Pani Puri, Aloo Tikki and Bhel. Even the strong filter coffee was great. People practicing Jain religion, Vegans Andalous vegetarians have good options here.

Excellent Indian food. Little pricey but can be e pexted. Facility probably needs little face-lift. Service can be slow at times.

In years past, I visited this restaurant when it was a delicious buffet. Many years later now, I was very disappointed. Its not buffet and the food was way below par from other indian restaurants I've eaten at. Indian food was one of my very favorites, and probably would still be if I could find the food I love. Oh well.

I ordered panner burji with paratha, paneer burji is too oily, one would definitely get sick if eats paneer burji , i guess with that quantity of oil we can easily cook for 2 days at home. And aloo paratha i wouldn’t call it as paratha no taste at all , please add some spices to it. Overall 0 star, i would not recommend this taj chat house , very disappointed.

Quick fast dining or to go. Finally found my place for Dahi puri and vada pav. I’ve tried other places and they were bland. This packed a lot of spices and flavor and moist. I love the sauces that accompany the Dahi puri and use it for the vada pav as well.
I’m so glad someone told me about this place.

Excellent food and very authentic. Relatively well priced for the area. Plenty of seating around to enjoy your food.

I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered from this place expecting a decent meal, but instead, I was served a dead fly buried right in my food. This is not just unacceptable—it’s a complete health hazard.
The fact that this passed through the kitchen and was served to a paying customer shows a complete lack of hygiene, quality control, and basic respect for people’s health. I’m shocked and disgusted that any food establishment could allow something like this to happen.
Not only did it ruin my appetite, but I had to worry about the health risks after accidentally consuming part of the dish before noticing. There was no accountability, no proper apology, and certainly no standards being followed in that kitchen.
If you care about your health and hygiene, do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else. This was the first and definitely the last time I’ll ever order here.
