Google has the menu wrong. There were quite a few missing items we were looking forward to trying. What we did get was amazing those, some of the best Thai food in dfw. The Thai tea was amazing and the pad Thai was incredible. Overall I highly recommend!
Great food and great service! Ms. Koung and her staff take pride in their work and are doing a great job.
My first time at the restaurant. There is plenty of parking and we were seated right away. The staff member was friendly and attentive.
I had the drunken noodles. They were very good. I would order them again.
We will definitely be back.
I have lived a summer in Thailand (Bangkok and Chiang Mai) so I can pretty securely say I am familiar with Thai street food. This place is really good and tastes authentic.
My wife and I were hungry after looking at apartments in the area and this place was perfect!
I ordered the drunken noodles and chicken wings with Thai chili spice.
Our friend ordered the Ka Pow and Coconut Ice Cream.
Both were amazing! And we loved the great and attentive service!
Also the way this restaurant is decorated is well done and it has a beautiful mural on the wall.
We will be back again!
With the new menu they provide only chicken and tofu,2 choices.Khao Man Gai is the best one same as you eat in Thailand.
Feedback welcome. I will also post the pictures.
Had lunch at Gai by Thai Monkey yesterday and it was amazing.
I knew the second I walked into the restaurant that it was going to be great. The decor is done in a very tranquil, blue color and you will feel relaxed and ready for a wonderful experience as soon as you walk in the door.
We started with Chicken Gyoza and Chicken Satay for apps, and then split Khao Man Gai (#1) and Kua Gai noodles (#8).
Gai means chicken and that’s what they specialize in and every dish we had was outstanding.
We tried two different types of desserts; sweet rice with mango and roti with tea mousse. The tea mouse is not on the menu but ask the GM - Ploy, for it and she will gladly accommodate you.
I also had Thai tea. I hesitated to order it because it can sometimes be a little sweet. Ploy suggested I mix it with unsweetened tea. I trusted her recommendation and it something I will order again and again.
Mixing it is a great option for those who don’t like their drinks too sweet like me or those who are watching their sugars.
I strongly recommend this restaurant. The staff was great, the ambience was great and the food was great.
I will definitely be returning and definitely trying some of the other options, Kao Soi (#10) being the one I will be trying next.
If you love Thai food, you gotta check this place out!
This Thai spot is seriously so good! The flavors are super authentic—just like home. I tried the Pad Kra Pao, Khao Man Gai, and Khao Soi… all were so tasty. Everything’s cooked just right and full of flavor. The place is clean, comfy, and the staff is really friendly too. If you’re around the area, don’t miss it. Totally worth it!
My frst visit to this restaurant customer service is fantastic and wow food and serving plating is so so good and I recommend my self to go there 🥰 again

The Tom kha soup was below average, mushrooms and broth didn’t seem fresh, and barely any flavor.
The appetizers ( fried spring roll, and fried cheese roll) had more dough than filling. And the cheese roll had very little cheese and low quality cheese.
The curry dishes were decent, probably the only decent dishes we enjoyed.
Last but not least, the restaurant closes at 10 pm and by 9:30 pm we were done eating and had paid the bill, but were chatting and catching up with family, when the waitress came by and asked “ do you need anything else?” I replied “no thank you” she replied “ we are closing in 10 minutes” I said “ your sign says you are closing at 10 pm, it’s 9:30 pm” so then her and the only other waitress working with her say
“ yes but we have to clean”. Also there were 2 guests eating dinner across from us.
So overall, the curry is decent but nothing else is worth the visit especially not the service.
If a manager reads this review, the two young girls Im referring to that both joined in on telling me that we had to leave by 9:30 pm so they can clean, were working the night shift from 8:30 pm- 9:30 pm on 12/10/24.
Goodnight

We ordered fried rice, pad thai, and a thai curry and everything tasted more on the sweeter side. Found it kind of ironic since they state on the menu that they won’t remake an item for you if you order it too spicy. Flavor is mediocre and servers insisted that pad thai is supposed to be sweet. 🤷♀️ There’s better out there.

Recently I ordered yellow curry and to my dismay it was absolutely terrible. Firstly I asked for four stars and it was clearly sweet with barely any noticeable spiciness. Secondly it seemed incredibly rich and had a consistency that wasn't thick enough. And lastly it essentially tasted as if someone used a microwaveable curry dish and melted in a copious of butter at a poor attempt of enhancing flavor. I was uncomfortably bloated for multiple hours afterwards despite not even finishing the meal.
