Very good. Level 3 hotness. Tried the drunken noodles and the panang curry. A1!!! Both dishes came to about $30 so it was a pretty good price for the amount of food per dish. This will be my new go to spot for Thai food

Pad Thai is very different and good. Yellow curry is also good as expected, but fried tofu is buttered so it's extra yummy.

I had a strong craving for a light, clear seafood soup, so I called Thai Monkey Restaurant to inquire about their options. Despite clearly specifying my preference for a clear soup with seafood, I was assured they had just the thing: tom yum soup. They quoted a price of $12 for a large size, and I eagerly placed my order over the phone. However, upon delivery, I was shocked to find that they had charged me $20 instead of the agreed-upon $12, citing an additional $8 charge for seafood, which was never mentioned during our phone conversation.Even more disappointing was the soup itself. Instead of the clear, fragrant broth I had anticipated, it was drowning in red oil and spices, so much so that it resembled a curry more than a soup. To add insult to injury, the seafood consisted of fried fish strips, an unconventional and unsuitable choice for a soup. The overpowering sourness and excessive oiliness left me feeling betrayed and unsatisfied. While I've enjoyed tom yum soup in the past, what Thai Monkey Restaurant served was a far cry from the authentic dish I had hoped for.

I eat here with coworkers about once a month. Restaurant is small, so if going for lunch we try to arrive earlier than noon. But the food is the best Thai around. I love the pineapple curry.

This is my new go to for Thai food. Had the Massaman curry and my friend had the Pad Ka Pao, which I had the opportunity to taste as well. First off, we were served salad and egg roll. Both good but pretty standard. Then the entrees came, and I was blown away by the Massaman Curry, as it's the best I have ever had! However, next time I'm there I'm ordering h the Pad Ka Pao, as I've never had it, and the one bite I had was sooooooo good. Service was great, atmosphere nice. While I really love this place, I encourage the restaurant to do better with cleaning the restrooms, as that was really the only negative (and does not take away from a five star rating!).

Simple deco, clean & friendly. Pad Dhai noodles is good, not mushy or too wet. Tom Yum noodles was decent although it was a tad saltier and sweeter. I would prefer side condiments so I can add extra if needed so.

I ordered take away and my order was ready quickly. The pineapple curry is so yummy and it's a good amount. Spice level 1, it's the perfect mild level for me. My only complaint is that the steamed rice that comes with it was only halfway full. It's not nearly enough for the curry. I hope it was just a one off but I guess next time I'll order an extra side of steamed rice. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. Thank you!

I have been living in Irving for a long time and have been only eating Chinese food from two places. Me and my mom decided to try this place and try Thai food for the first time and I was shocked. The seasonings were so great in how I can taste the spices are so fresh and everything was so delicious there crab ragoons were the bomb. And I am a big fan of corn fritters and they have them as patties and oh my God I never knew I love them better as patties. This place is a 10 out of 10 definitely coming back.

High-quality protein portions and best tasting chicken pad thai I have ever eaten. When I order pad thai from other restaurants I get a HUGE portion of noodles and a scant amount of protein and sauce. Here it's the opposite: a good-size overall portion with a lot of protein and really good tasting sauce. I get food to go for dinner at least once a week for my husband and I, and have tried a handful of menu items that are consistently good. This place is not very old, but I can't believe more people have not discovered it yet!

Avg, decent food, quaint cozy atmosphere, quick and prompt service... there wasn't much to say about this place. Worth a try if you're in the area.

Good food and quick service. We ordered red curry, pineapple fried rice, crab Rangoon, and fresh rolls. The red curry had great flavor but felt like it could have been heated up a little more. Got a level three spice; good flavor but not super spicy. Restaurant was clean and quiet - my friend and I had a very long dinner (catching up after a few months) and the wait staff was very kind to us.
