I have tried several of their dishes.
I would recommend to any one who is missing out on Indo Chinese food.

Must Try-
Soups
Street style fried rice
Street style noodles
Burnt garlic fried rice.

Pretty good ambience.
Love their logo.
They do have some biryani offerings as well.
Some of their appetizers can double as curry for the rotis and naan's.

We had dinner at Monks recently. We ordered Hot & Sour Soup, and 3 Indo Chinese entrees. All items had excessive amount of salt (or MSG) and soy sauce. We order Kung Pau Chicken which only came with green peppers and No Peanuts.

Disappointing Experience - Wouldn't Recommend

I visited this place last night, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. Here are the main issues:

Lack of Communication: When we arrived, the staff had no idea how long the wait would be. There was no information given about how long it would take to get a seat or when the food would arrive.

Long Wait Times: We were told it would be a 10-minute wait, but we ended up waiting 20-25 minutes to be seated. After placing our order, the food still didn’t arrive, and when we followed up, the staff said there was a large order ahead of ours and that it would take more time. This was never communicated at the start, so we were left in the dark.

Poor Customer Service: When I spoke to the manager, he casually mentioned that other customers were waiting for over an hour, but that’s not a helpful answer when you’re the one waiting. When I asked why they didn’t inform us at the start about the longer wait times, he didn’t have an explanation and admitted that it was a mistake.

Subpar Food & Unhelpful Staff: After waiting about 45 minutes for our meal, the food didn’t meet expectations. The dessert was especially bad, so I returned it to the staff to discard, but they didn’t offer a refund or replacement. This lack of care shows how poorly they treat their customers.

Overall, I would not recommend this place, especially for families. It’s clear that the focus is more on making money than providing quality service or care for customers.

Had asked for a CHILI GARLIC NOODLES. Did not get what I asked for and the staff were very rude. Not worth spending so much money!

The food is amazing! I had the chili garlic chicken noodles and it was filling and plentiful! The tiki masala is good as well. We loved the mango lasse :) it's about 30 minutes from our home but plan to come back regularly! It's worth the drive.

Average place for food. We ordered a few dishes and the experience was mixed. About half of the items were good, while the rest didn’t meet expectations.

Liked: Masala Crispy Corn and Street-style noodles were tasty.
Didn’t like: The chicken appetizer and Manchurian were disappointing.

We also tried soda, which wasn’t good, and surprisingly had to pay for water. Overall, an average experience.

Today was honestly the worst food experience we’ve had at Monks. This place used to be one of my favorites, which makes this even more disappointing.

We ordered the Bandi Style Noodles, but they were extremely bland. We informed the waiter and asked if it could be redone. Instead of preparing it properly again, we were served the same noodles with just salt added. It tasted terrible and felt very careless.

On top of that, the lady working at the front desk was quite arrogant and unwelcoming, which made the experience even worse.

This visit was far below the standard Monks used to have. I really hope the management takes this feedback seriously because this is not what returning customers expect.

Service was mediocre, but the food was worst. Their Monk special noodles had no special taste at all, tasted like they just put some masala's in onion, capsicum, noodle and gave it to us. The soup was good but not hot at all. On top of it they charge for water bottles which they serve.
