Sitting here waiting on the Cowboys game and eating Tommy BBQ. This BBQ is so good and affordable. The bake potato is so good. I ate half and hopefully I don’t fall asleep lol. If you in the Irving Texas area try there Ribs and Mac and cheese aswell you won’t regret it. By the prices are A1

All the meat was dry no meat on the ribs my jaw is sore from chewing so much the mac n cheese was watery the fried Okra was decent and the toast was tough a d tasted stale people were nice just really bad

The people were really nice. The price was fair for the amount of food we got. However, I did not care for the food. The pork ribs had no flavor. The bbq sauce did not help with the flavor at all. The mac n cheese tasted like a box of kraft. I will say that the baked potato and sausage was delicious.

The atmosphere is great. Amazing workers, very kind. It was clean. The only thing I didn’t like was that all of the food was very under seasoned. I ordered a rack of ribs and it was good but not tender, the brisket was a bit dry, the coleslaw tasted more like regular cabbage wit water down mayo, the Mac and cheese was okay; nothing special, the banana pudding was also disappointing. In all if I return, it will probably be for the place and the prices and not the food.

Turkey was questionably moist. Almost not real Turkey. Okra was dry and over cooked. Ribs were decent. Mac and cheese wasn’t edible.

I had the sliced beef plate with Cole slaw and Barbecue beans. It came with a slice of Texas toast and I asked for some raw sliced onions from their condiment bar.
I loved it! This is now my go-to Barbecue place!!! Now the beef was lean beef so it was a little dry but it makes up for that with great beef flavor. I loved the BBQ sauce but I could eat the beef without it. There was some bark and it was good and smoky flavored. The Cole slaw was sliced very very thin and had a light mayo sauce... OK, the Cole slaw was a little bland, but the baked beans were fantastic! Sweet with bits of sausage in them.
Next time, I want to try the ribs and the potato salad.
All in all, if you are tired of how the chain bbq restaurants depend on their sauce and have no flavor in their beef, you must try Tommy's! They have the beef! (And ham, sausage, ribs, hot links, turkey, and pork).

Went Wednesday to get food, got there at 6:30..(dont close till 7) they were already cleaned up and said they were closing in 5 minutes..But if we had CASH we could get food because Card Machine was down....Used to like this place, but gone to CRAP now.
