The architecture and design (inside and outside) is stunningly beautiful - fabulous attention to detail and superbly executed / superbly maintained. Great wait staff, reasonable prices, solid cocktails, tacos, and apps. Nothing not to love for an upscale casual dining or drink experience, and plenty to appreciate.

Special menu for Valentines Day. Lobster Bisque was amazing. Every bit as good as the bisque at Dino's Steak and Claw House, but with bigger chunks of lobster. Drinks were reasonably priced. Short rib was very tender and flavorful. Snapper was well prepared on lobster risotto. Sauce was on point. Tort was exceptional. First time guest but will definitely visit again in the future.

We booked a reservation on Open Table for dinner NYE at Two Mules Cantina for the first time. When we arrived, they did not have our reservation and proceeded to tell us they had a special NYE buffet dinner priced at $85 person. They also told us to find our own table. This info was not posted on the website nor Open Table. Because we also had tickets to a Murder Mystery show at that location for NYE, we decided to try the buffet. In short, the buffet was worth maybe $30 a person. Certainly not what they charged. This was not a good dining experience. As such, we do not recommend Two Mules Cantina.

We made a reservation through Open Table but when we arrived there was a special event taking place and we were told we couldn't keep our reservation. We've been staying at Texican Court and eating at Two Mules Cantina for years, celebrating birthdays, watching football games, celebrating other events with friends...so we were saddened to hear the host tell us the reservation wasn't honored. In my opinion, Open Table should have been alerted by Two Mules Cantina about the special event so that if reservations were not being accepted during that time, no one would have been able to make them. Or there could've been a plan in place for what to do should Open Table still allow reservations. Hopefully, this can be a learning experience that can be helpful for better planning, next time there's a special event. It's sad to have long-time customers disappointed by something that could have been rectified and turned into a “win win” to share good news about customer service. We stay at all of the Valencia boutique hotels. They're all great! This was just a one time experience with Two Mules Cantina. OpenTable has always been trustworthy to reflect available reservations. This time must have been due to lack of communication by Two Mules Cantina.

It was our first time there. Our waiter wasn’t very friendly to US. We won’t be back.

While visiting Dallas, this was a great stop. For a Texmex meal, this is a go-to spot.

The food was ridiculously expensive for chicken enchiladas. I paid a little over 20, tip included. For cilantro rice that did not taste like cilantro rice and was mushy. Flour tortillas rolled up with very little chicken and a tiny side of ranchero beans. Poblano sauce and beans did have a great flavor. The atmosphere is amazing. I had a great time with my friends, and our waitress was amazing as well. Maybe try something else to eat, and it may be better than what I had. My friends had quesadillas that they loved. I don't eat red meat, so there are not a lot of choices for me.

Been coming here with a cigar group for several years and never had an issue with the service until tonight. We where a group of 7 and no waiter came out for almost an hour. 3 of us went inside to talk to the staff and 2 phone calls were made to management. When one of us went inside to talk to the manager on duty, she said that the manager and another employee took off for the kitchen the moment they saw her coming inside.

After almost an hour, a waiter finally came out but instead of an apology for the hour of sitting in 100 degrees without service, he just acted as if nothing happened.

It's truly been an experience tonight and I can only say, I felt like the biggest nuisance to those people. We didn't tip tonight and besides our regular waitress, I certainly won't tippy anybody that works there ever again.

Cornhole on the back patio with fires and nice ambiance. Plenty of seating inside. If you're just going for dinner at the restaurant, double check with the staff, they told us not to pay for the parking even though it does have signs that you're supposed to pay. Good drinks, nice happy hour. Our group didn't classify this as Tex-Mex, it had chicken fried steak and burgers on the menu. Overall good place though
