Zodiac Time Coffee Bistro

A really special experience for 8 of our group of “Party Girls”. There is no better place to do lunch with friends. The ambiance and service is so quietly elegant.

The Zodiac Room always goes beyond my expectations. The service is impeccable, the ambience is from a bygone era, and the food it as beautfully presented as it tastes. The popover with strawberry butter and consumme' are such a delicacy and so unique to The Zodiac Room. This is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Dallas.

Our server Jonathan was so great, and the food was equally wonderful. The open dining room, with raised corner seating feels fancy, classic, and very see and be seen, but it is comfortable and inviting. We'll be back!

We had the best time ever! From being greeted by Laura always makes you feel at home. Our server JR was awesome. As usual the meal was delicious. The Brussels sprout appetizer was especially good. The best restaurant in town for a delightful lunch and catch up with your friends. Can't wait to go back!

The Zodiac Room at Neiman Marcus on Main St is a delight. The service and food quality are impeccable. It is truly a one of a kind dining spot in Dallas.

Flawless service with delicious menu and attentive staff. White tablecloth experience consistent with Neiman Marcus brand. We plan to go back before the building possibly shuts down.

Martha is the best server!!! We have been coming for several years and she is always top tier.

We arrived early, waited 10 minutes. Seated at a sweet table for two. We always order the Mandarin Orange Salad. Excellent. The popover is always my favorite starter!

The food itself was good, with a nice variety and solid quality across the buffet offerings, and the atmosphere was pleasant and well-maintained. However, one disappointing aspect was that the restaurant was buffet-only, which wasn't clearly communicated when making the reservation through OpenTable. There was no indication ahead of time that there wouldn't be an à la carte option, so that was an unexpected surprise. While the buffet was enjoyable, clearer information during the reservation process would have made the experience smoother and set better expectations.

What an iconic venue.... Luv the Zodiac Room. Food, service and atmosphere is fabulous. You can actually have a conversation and hear what the other person is saying.

The food is simply delicious 😋! The variety is very good. The service is excellent. The restaurant is perfect for a family outing, Luncheon date, a celebration lunch or business meeting. This was my third time eating there and it only has gotten better.

First, let me say they comped two of our children because they were aware our experience was subpar. We waited 45 minutes past our reservation time and were eventually seated at a table off the main floor that had been available the whole time. No waiter greeted us, but our 4 starving children bolted for the buffet anyway. We eventually got silverware and water, and shortly before we were ready to leave our drinks arrived. Despite getting reservations the day they became available, we were only able to get the 2:30 seating. Since they sat us at 3:15, the buffet was needing attention. They were diligently attending to this, but it took several trips to get a chance at all the offerings. It was not relaxing or calm or pleasant, though the food was okay and the array of salads was impressive. The sad state of the store that used to be so festive at Christmas was disappointing also.

We have been celebrating Christmas here for over 15 years. This year was the first time that we weren't seated within 5 minutes of our arrival and reservation time. We had four for a 2pm reservation. We waited to be seated without any mention of how long it would take. They seated us at 2:40pm. I had my young boys eat a minimal breakfast so as to enjoy the amazing buffet. They were troopers to say the least. Worst part was we went down for our photo with Santa, exited the elevator and it was 4:12pm. He left at 4pm. The whole timing was off. I will come back and our waitress was working so hard. They need to adjust reservations or move along lingering parties. Till next year!

My friends and I were so excited to get together for lunch today. We had a wonderful lunch, everything was extremely delicious and our sweet server was great.
