I did not stay here but was driving by and stopped for lunch. My server at the bar was really cool and attentive and nice to talk to. My chicken fried steak was good the only thing I would recommend is making sure the breading fits the meat, but everything tasted good and was worth the stop for lunch.
Such a cute little place. If you are in Jacksboro, this is the place to stay! They have a restaurant onsite that is absolutely delicious. I had the French dip and the au jus sauce was the best I have ever had the meat was so so good, but I wish there was more in the sandwich. The bar area had an old time saloon feel! This place is beautiful! The server was super knowledgeable about the building, the renovations, she even explained the weird lay out. I tried to warn her that I am a very picky eater and again, she came through. She made several suggestions; the cheese fries were a hit and I loved the chicken fry. Thank for a great visit!
