The F2 Tortado with chopped brisket is easily in my top 10 favorite restaurant foods of all time! I don't normally like "barbeque" but Jack smokes the 2nd most delicious brisket I have ever eaten. The first being my mother, which is saying something because she won the Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow Award in high school...after she tried to skip the test. Point being: the food at Mesquiteville Bar-B-Q is delicious! Good food, good vibe, and good people!
By far one of my favorite places to eat BBQ! So many “authentic” BBQ places no longer actually smoke their meat in the traditional way but Mesquiteville sticks to their roots. Warning!! You better use a fork because the meat is so tender it falls to apart. Couldn’t ask for better flavors. The Tortados are to die for. Amazing brisket and sausage! The tater-nado was amazing and was so much food for the price! We will always stop on our travels through Jacksboro. Family run business, literally whole family! Also BYOB!
