Love this place, but was disappointed this week when they turned my business away stating that they are only doing tamales for the holiday week. I wasn’t able to see that information anywhere before sending my boyfriend in. Really saddened by it because I just returned home from overseas and am sick so, wanted my comfort food of the best bean and cheese tacos in town.

Everything is delicious! I've been coming here for years! And I live 20-30 away and still try to make it here at least once a week. The owner is super nice and helpful when it comes to ordering. My favorite is the birria tacos with their consomé, hands down the best I've ever had, I have tried lots of places. They just do not compare to Auroras Family kitchen. Not enough words to describe this place! My husband and I were greeted with great service. We came in for the birria tacos because we heard how good they were. We had to get some tamales for later cause they looked so good! This place is amazing so hard to find authentic Mexican food especially in the Austin area this place is such a gem! 100000/10 😋
