Golden Chick offers pleasing service with friendly staff. Customers find the chicken and fries solid, and Buddy's chicken sandwich is excellent. The golden sandwich and catfish are stars, though the catfish portion is small for the price. Corn nuggets are good, but the fries are rubbish. The drink selection is good, especially the fresh tea. Imelda, the manager, is praised for her accommodating nature; she even welcomed customers close to closing time and provided them with extra treats.
