Great Small Restaurant !! This place is a Great Family Atmosphere to eat. The Food is Homemade with Different Specials everyday. Clean, Quiet. Friendly Local place. Service was Awesome !!! If you like Good Old Fashion Country Food you will LOVE this place and all its charm.
Best burger joint in all of East Texas. It's dangerously close to my house so I'm always around to get the bacon cheese burger, with tater tots of course. Always perfectly cooked. Some of the best fried fish I have ever had and they have many great daily specials for super cheap. Plus, you get a slice of cake with them. If you are going to the lake for the weekend it's worth the trip to eat here.

It is not a five star restaurant as is in NY or New Orleans. It is a 5 star country Cafe that serves lunch specials on a country folk level. Atmosphere is the same. If you are raised in the country, I would imagine it will be what most of your mothers Cafe would be like. I was raised in the country and it's like having your cousins, and a few friends over for lunch. With the exception nobody's father takes out a belt or switch.
