Stumbled upon Silver Dollar Bistro/ Silver Dollar Winery while looking for gluten free food options near Fredricksberg and it was 11/10 the best choice we could have made! The food hit the spot, they had gluten free pizzas for those of us who needed gluten free food and they were quick and delicious. We ended up doing tastings as well and had a great time chatting with the owner Richard. The wine was great, the vibe was great and we will definitely be back!

Our lunch at Silver Dollar Bistro was most definitely a 5 star experience. From the minute we walked in and were greeted by 4 dogs, we knew we made a good choice. The first thing Dom did was to make sure we were ok with the dogs. The food was so very good (salads, sandwich, chicken tortellini Alfredo, and a charcuterie board!) We were invited to sample wines before selecting our preference. I even bought a bottle to bring home. Dom and Butch were excellent hosts. Silver Dollar Bistro is as close to a perfect choice for lunch as you will come!

The wine and food were fantastic, and the service was very friendly and down to earth. This bistro is a neat stop if you’re wine touring through the area. I adore their collection of Nutcrackers on display. I also noticed they had some cottages to stay in if you're looking for a place for the night.

Stopped by for lunch and food was incredible. We tried the spinach artichoke dip, pimento cheese, chicken poblano lasagna, and chicken tortellini; it was all really delicious and now we can’t wait to come eat here again.

Super chill spot. The staff was very friendly. We came here after touring the LBJ ranch. It exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, and the wine was amazing. We bought a bottle to go(Liberty Bell bottle). I highly recommend this location.

Kid-friendliness: Our kids loved playing with the resident dogs and running around the vast property. Everything is beautifully lit-uo right now with holiday lights.

Nice little winery on the 290 wine trail. Stopped by because we were hungry and we were not disappointed! The food was great! The chicken tortellini was nice and creamy and the meatballs were to die for. Wendy our server was extremely attentive and had great wine and food recommendations. Definitely give this place a try!
We came here for some lunch and wow! This place is INCREDIBLE. I got the meatballs and I couldn’t be happier. They were some of the best meat balls I’ve ever had. The meat had such a great flavor and the cheese had the perfect consistency. We also got the artichoke dip and it was delicious. Wendy was attending us and she was great! We loved her. We’re from Houston and we would recommend this place to everyone!
Owner seems like a very nice gentleman and the food was really good. Didn't try the wine, but definitely coming back. There are a lot of unique wines I haven't seen at other wineries, including a Gewerztraminer, Vermentino and a good selection of sweet wines. I am definitely coming back when I can drink. They also sell cigars, but NOT for on-site smoking (Enjoy it at home with a good glass, and don't make everyone else smell it, ok?)
