SILVER DOLLAR WINERY HILL COUNTRY

They were so amazing and kind to my husband, myself and two little kiddos. The pizza was AMAZING some of the best we’ve had. Really nice ambiance, chill, relaxed and just all around a good find. Will definitely return whenever we visit Fredericksburg again.

We wondered in on our drive out of Austin. The winery was closed but Richard and Dom still served us a wine and cider tasting. They were so friendly and made sure we were welcomed. We left with 2 bottles of cider, a wine bottle and a cigar because everything was so good! 100% recommend!

WOW.
-Customer service: OUTSTANDING!!! It felt like we were visitors in someone's home. The service was unmatched. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
-Wine: Ike's Red Blend is DELICIOUS.
-Food: We ordered wings (naked with spicy Chipotle dry rub), bruschetta, beef ravioli, and charcuterie. It was all amazing.
-Cider: Sampled some cider and it was all SO good!
-Hot Sauce: Oh my. We bought a bottle. They have samples available and they are all SO good for spicy food lovers!
-Venue: Stayed indoors for the food and never ventured outside til the end. Looking forward to returning and taking advantage of the outdoor yard area. There's hammocks and lots of seating.

Terrific find. Great food in addition to really good local wine. People working there are really helpful and really take care of you. Pizza was perfect and the other Italian dishes were even better.

Such a great little winery. The staff were super friendly, accommodating and made us feel really welcome. We had both the gluten free crust and original crust pizza which was honestly some of the best we’ve had in a while. Great wine, great atmosphere—definitely worth the visit.

PS - Cowboy is the best doggo!

We camped as a Harvest Host traveler for one night. We enjoyed the wine immensely and bought 2 bottles. The pizza is outstanding. We want to thank Don for the wine tasting. We had a great conversation about wines and both of our cultures. Don owns the cider side of the business and we highly recommend them. We also want to thank meeting Mark (hope I got that right). We didn't get to talk to him much, but he's very nice. And we definitely have to thank Richard for the hospitality. We had several long conversations and I wish that we could have stayed longer. This will definitely be our go to place in the future. We'd like to bring the kids and grandkids to rent the cabins. You're missing out if you don't come here.

What a wonderful place! The cider was delicious, with many interesting varieties, and the pizza was perfectly made. But what made the experience unforgettable was meeting the owner, Dom. We had an inspiring conversation as he shared his story, and it's clear that he is very passionate about the cidery. You should definitely visit this place with so much heart!

Great place with good wines, Cowboy Mark & the pups make you feel right at home! This place feels like what Texas wineries should be like! Don’t California our Texas!!

What a lovely experience! I walked in and felt like home! Amazing service and the best pizza! They even had gluten free! They also have air b and b spots and help with transport to wineries! Please visit when you are in town! You will not be disappointed!!!

This winery was amazing ! I traveled from out of state and this was our first stop. Mark was so helpful and attentive to my friend and I, for sure made us laugh ! The staff did a wonderful job checking in on us. The wine was amazing, and overall had a wonderful experience.

We were here for lunch and it was an absolute highlight. Of course we also had a few of the excellent wines with our meal. A great atmosphere, super nice people, we can only recommend it

Can’t say enough good things about Silver Dollar! Our visit to the winery was a highlight of our trip. The people are so warm and welcoming, the wine is delicious, and the pizza hit the spot! We can’t wait to go back some day!
