We stopped here for dinner after a swamp tour with Captain Ron. Service was great and food was excellent! We will make a stop back here again in a future visit to the area.

Absolutely delicious meal - blackened catfish fillets, which came with fries AND complimentary hushpuppies, relish assortment, and coleslaw. (I don't even like coleslaw, but this was very tasty.)
Even though I was there on a busy Friday night, the service was attentive without being overbearing. And the price was reasonable.
I can highly recommend Big Pines Lodge!

My chicken fried steak fell all apart. I was excited to try this place for a first time but wasn't anything to write home about
Good food and great service, definitely worth a visit. Proper definition of food with a view. It got much busier later in the evening so keep that in mind. Lastly, I did think the food was on the smaller side, so you might want to request extra amounts if visiting while starving.

What started out to be a fun family outing and dining experience unfortunately ended horribly. To begin with, my family and I had wonderful and friendly service, and the food was delicious. However, my friend and I had a horrible experience when we were verbally attacked by the manager/owner's sister in the restroom. My friend and i were the only ones in the bathroom having a private conversation when this woman walked in. Apparently, she heard the last part of our conversation, and decided to butt in on our conversation. She began reprimanding and making false accusations about what my friend and I were talking about privately. She continued to badger me and would not stop. I tried to diffuse the confrontation, but she would not leave us alone. She was extremely rude and callous. I feel the manager/owner should have done more when I complained about it.
