We ate at Big Pines Lodge and it was amazing!!! I have nothing but great things to say from the fried catfish to the fresh, hand dipped onion rings, etouffe, jalapeno hush puppies, relish tray, and the coleslaw.... OH MAN!!! The coleslaw. It is worth a special trip if you do not live in the area. It is also family owned and operated by some great people who came out to check on everyone to make sure everything was perfect.

Hushpuppies, fried catfish, okra, fried cheese sticks, okra, coleslaw, coffee, red beans and rice. All tasty and freshly made! They also give you a small plate of pickles, sweet pickled tomatoes, and white onions. Friendly and attentive service as soon as you walk through the door. Pretty spot next to the water and plenty of parking.

Very friendly service that was attentive to detail. When our food order had a mistake, our server was very quick to make it right. Food was all tasty, and the menu even accommodated a carnivore diet. It was a great dinner with family, and they even had live music!

Food was very delicious, fresh and hot. The recipes are 🔥 having thoer own flavors for coleslaw, battered shrimp and chicken. Hushpuppies are wonderful!! Our server was a nurse and now works there. She was very attentive , people person and our glasses were never empty. Excellent service, excellent food in an excellent atmosphere with beautiful sights all around. A++
