On a quest to find the best Chicken Fried steak in East Texas, after some research, I chose this place for my birthday lunch courtesy of a long time friend who lives in DeBerry. The setting is typical Caddo Lake picturesque, with a boat ramp adjacent to the parking lot and plenty of Cypress trees draped in Spanish moss as far as the eye can see. Sit where you'd like, someone will be with you in short order. There's no pretense here, it's simple but basic, clean...
Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with wonderful selections on the menu! I've been multiple times and they NEVER dissapoint. Patty-melt-AMAZING, Chicken Fried Steak-AMAZING! Sweet tea- ON POINT! Highly recommend and will be back as soon as I can get back to that neck of the woods!
