⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely delicious! We stopped in for a bite and ended up splitting the Down South Pasta and an order of boudin balls—both were incredible! The flavors were rich, comforting, and packed with Southern goodness. Every bite was a reminder of why we love great local spots like this. We’ll definitely be back for more!

I loved the atmosphere, the drinks! And the food! Everything came out fresh to order and the drinks were amazing! You have to try the chicken fried baked potato and down south pasta! We will definitely be back!

My fiancé and I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Despite there being only two other people in the entire establishment, the service was horrible. Our server brought us water initially but never returned to take our order, even after 20 minutes. Instead, he continuously walked past us without acknowledging our presence.

It's a shame, because this restaurant could have potential, but the lack of basic customer service really ruined the experience for us. I genuinely wish the business the best, but if they don't invest in some proper customer service training soon, I doubt they'll be around in the next couple of years.

FIRST TIME HERE AND IT WAS NIGHT BUSY FOR A SATURDAY NIGHT.. PERSONAL WAS JUST SMOKING AND CHILLING ON HER PHONE… I ORDERED ALLIGATOR AND I RECEIVED CATFISH BITES…. I WAS TOLD MY FOOD WAS CORRECT AND IT WASNT ALLIGATOR. I WAS DISAPPOINTED BUT OH WELL…

The fish was seasoned well. Shrimp was seasoned well and seemed as tho it was marinated. Very tasteful. Salad was nice and green. Not just a plane ole salad. I don’t know if the ranch dressing is homemade but it was really good. The reason I scored the food and service a 3 and overall restaurant a 2 is because: we walked in and no one was at the door to greet us, fine. We decided to seat ourselves. Tables were dirty and the restaurant was empty. I understand it was only what seemed to be 2 people working. Which is fine. I support and love private businesses. I don’t like to call them small because people dreams are big and important so I call what people call small business, private. We sat at one of the tables, the server took our order and I watched him write the order down. We asked not to receive the fried corn and for a substitute. We still received fried corn. If you’re going to give fried corn and the guest request a substitute, I would at the minimum not even send it out because that’s an unnecessary waste. We didn’t get the substitutes we requested. The catfish basically evaporated in your mouth. It didn’t taste like what I expected as far as texture but again season well. We received our salad but the server didn’t bring us any utensils until our entre came out. He definitely need some server training, which is fine. In all the atmosphere is great and the establishment have ALOT of potential. We went during the day but you never know who is going to walk into your establishment that can make or break your reputation publicly.

I ordered for delivery last night. I requested the catfish and crawfish platter. I came with only one piece of fish, when two pieces are advertised. The crawfish was fried in a cornmeal fry, which was super salty. The fish was fried very nicely in more of a regular fish fry. Very tasty. It also came with fries, fried corn on the cob and a salad, that I didn't request. I will try this place in person to see if that makes a difference.

Being from New Orleans I wanted to try this place. Went in early evening on a Saturday, the place is empty. One other couple in a booth. We (wife, myself, child) walk in and wait about five minutes for anyone to greet and seat us. Finally the seemingly lone server in the place comes over and takes us to a table that isn't even ready in a restaurant full of empty tables and booths. Before I go further, our server was friendly she was just very slow...and for no reason. Again, the place was empty. We get complimentary boudin balls which were amazing. That was great. Our order gets taken and we are informed that they don't have french fries. Um, okay. Nowhere runs out of fries. Seems suspicious. I order a catfish poboy and onion rings because of the fry shortage, and a grilled cheese with dirty rice for the kid. An unusually long time passes and finally the food comes out. The dirty rice is literally dirty. It was rancid. It had spoiled, gone bad, it was horrible. One bite, spit it out. That was some old back of fridge dirty rice re-heated and passed off as food. My catfish poboy was loaded, which was nice. It wasn't mind blowing good but the fish nuggets were okay. It was basic catfish nuggets and the poboy being "dressed" was more like it had a salad dumped on it. The onion rings were very over-fried to the point that the onion inside was vaporized. It was just dark fried rings of crust fried in what tasted like old oil. Our server vanished at that point and our drinks sat empty. By this time another couple popped in and left without eating. Finally our server, again, friendly but un-attentive, comes back and we get the check and get the hell out of there. Not going back. I always pull for small businesses but I suspect this one won't be around for long. Great atmosphere, bad food, bad service. Unfortunate.

Had catfish and shrimp food was great besides the fact I was charged for water, you would think if you paid $30 for food that's water would come with your food & the fact I didn't require water my niece did, water $2 , never was told that's I would be charged for water& I dine in the restaurant
