went here on valentine’s day with my bf! the food was crazy good- we had the pork belly and house marinade skewers & the spicy miso ramen. the ramen was perfectly salted but the pork belly was the star!!! will go here again, but there were only two servers working….. who in there right mind would only schedule two servers on a busy holiday? we felt bad for them!!! but the two girls did great & were super nice :) management needs to work on scheduling workers…

Honestly wasn’t bad at all, broth was a little “bland” it was just missing something for me. It passed the stomach test I’ll say. Felt satisfied.

Proof that good customer service can make a huge difference. Food was great except one dish, and they really did a great job of recovering the situation.
We came in late, and we had never been here before. Ordered Aji Tonkatsu Ramens, and something tasted off. If tasted weak, as if someone had watered it down. We were originally going to keep quiet and just not come back, but the Karaage, Unagi Don, and my son's Kimchi Ramen tasted great. It didn't make sense, this miss was specific to the Tonkatsu broth (read on).
I figured what the heck, it's worth letting them know. The manager (Jackie?) came out and listened, and after explaining things he thought he had an idea what happened. He brought us a broth to sample and asked us to try it as it's supposed to be presented. Tasted much, MUCH better. Even the color was different. Completely fixed the dish.
We would have left disappointed and unwilling to try again if it wasn't for the customer service. But because of this positive experience with the staff, we are looking to return another day (maybe not late next time) and consider this first experience simply unlucky.

Aji had a friendly staff with great food. Everything I had was great. The quality of the meat and the way things were cooked was great. I docked one star because it could have had a bit more flavor in the broth. Overall it’s well worth a try!

Oh wow! Do I agree with other reviewers that Aji Ramen is a hidden gem! I happened to pass the restaurant on the way from work. It's hard to see it because its behind other buildings in the plaza.
That one day of passing by, just happened I stopped by for another restaurant and it was closed for remodeling.
While in the parking lot and looking up other BBQ places in the area. I saw Aji Ramen and walked over. Funny thing I wanted BBQ! So my review is bout their Robata. It's another technique like Yakitori. So if you love Yakitori like I do, have a seat and get ready to enjoy!

Aji has the absolute BEST ramen in Katy! This hidden gem never misses! The appetizers and ramen are consistently delicious. I’ve been here many times for a couple of years now and realized I hadn’t left a review but I was there yesterday and it was delicious as always! Definitely check this place out!

Just wowed me when we first entered, then it continued to surprise me with the food with amazing service. There are a lot of choices, and this establishment stands out because of their bbq skewers! Tried the Wasabi honey chicken skewers, and it was tasty. Not traditional Japanese Wasabi, so expect some kick from the horseradish. Ramen broth was superb, more of a creamy texture than full broth.
Unagi rice bowl was delicious. Fish was very fresh and seasoned. No fish after taste. To top it off was the affordable cost. Very affordable. I shall return to try out everything.

Good service (waitresses were super nice and patient).
The ramen was very good (probably tied with Jinya as my favorite ramen place in the area). They offer both thick and thin noodles so you should specify if you have a preference. I prefer thick noodles!
My beef skewer was alright, chicken skewer was very good. Chicken karaage was good too. I like that they have a good size menu with vegetarian and vegan options as well so you can go here w/ people of different preferences and tastes!

Amazing Experience, A+ Service and Food!
I went to this place about 45 minutes before closing, feeling a little self-conscious about the timing and unsure how they'd react. To my surprise, I was immediately greeted with an incredibly welcoming atmosphere. The staff were so sweet and kind, and they kept smiling the entire time they talked to me, which made me feel really comfortable.
The servers were even better—they took my order right away and brought my food and water very quickly. I ordered the Shoyu Beef Ramen, and it was absolutely delicious. What impressed me even more was that they asked more than once how I was enjoying my meal, which made me feel like they genuinely cared about providing excellent service. That level of attentiveness feels rare these days.
Overall, an amazing place with amazing food. I would definitely come back. A+!

Found this place tucked into a little strip mall. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen which was good, but my friend had the miso which was basically flavorless. The appetizer we got was the sweet chili karaage and that tasted great. Not a bad place to eat, just don't get the miso.
