Alway love the food and atmosphere and enjoy the special menus for specific movies
The venue was impeccably clean, and the staff exuded warmth and friendliness that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. However, I was taken aback when the lights suddenly came up before the movie had truly concluded, leaving everyone in the audience baffled and craving closure. On a brighter note, the food was delightful; everything was fresh and delicious. The milkshake was a standout, creamy and perfectly blended to perfection. The only downside was the chair I sat in, which creaked and groaned under me, hinting at its age and wear. Overall, it was a mixed experience filled with both lovely moments and unexpected surprises.
The food is much improved from last year. I'm not sure what was changed, but my pizza last night is the best I've had there. Seats covers need to be replaced, but overall, it's a comfortable theater with good snacks and drinks. Convenient location. If you love movies, buy the pass!
Had a great time, went to see mickey 17. We were 5 minutes after show time so that could've been why or order was delayed on drinks and food as they get orders before movie plays but when I asked for our drinks a manager came right away and made sure our order came out fresh and quick and also gave us a small discount for the wait. Definitely worth going to see a movie and will go above and beyond to make any accommodations
The theater was clean and the popcorn and food was delicious.
Excellent Experience! Wonderful snacks and great service.
I love Alamo Drafthouse but this theatre is starting to see better days. The chairs are starting to get in really bad shape regardless of which theatre room you're in. I would give 5 stars if they'd fix the theatre back up to a good quality
Bring Randall back! The bar area stinks now. I used to spend a lot of money here, but not now.
One of my favorite theaters in Houston. I really wish they took their “no phone” policy as seriously as they used to though.
The seats are always clean, and the staff is welcoming, making for a great moviegoing experience. The Alamo Drafthouse is never too crowded, which adds to the comfort and enjoyment of the visit.

A Must-Visit Cinema Experience:
Alamo Drafthouse Cinema LaCenterra
I recently had the pleasure of watching “The Monkey” at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema LaCenterra, and it was an unforgettable experience. The theater offers comfy reclining seats with elevated leg rests, ensuring a cozy viewing experience. The full-service menu and bar allow you to enjoy a meal without missing a scene, with attentive staff discreetly serving you throughout the film.
The clean and modern environment adds to the charm, with a strict no-noise policy after credits roll, ensuring a distraction-free viewing experience. Alamo Drafthouse also hosts unique film events, making it a standout choice for movie enthusiasts. While the food can be a bit salty, the overall experience is well worth it. If you’re looking for a superior movie experience, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema LaCenterra is a must-visit destination.
Comfortable chairs great service. The food was good too
The is a 10 star very professional and kind
I recently visited Alamo with my kids and had a rather disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share.
During the movie, a couple who was sitting a few seats down from us was engaging in excessive kissing and making out, which was very uncomfortable for me as a parent & my children. I decided to address the situation and went to find a manager. Unfortunately, I found employees standing around without any apparent urgency. When I finally spoke to a manager, he assured me he would send someone to address the issue, but no one ever came.
To make matters worse, I had been pressing the button multiple times to order more food for my kids, but no one attended to us until the movie was nearly over. When the food finally arrived, I was disappointed to find that the ribeye tacos were not only unappetizing but also far from the glowing recommendation I received from the servers.
After the movie, I spoke with the manager again about the situation. I was taken aback by his nonchalant attitude and the excuse that they didn’t intervene because the movie was supposedly ending in five minutes. In reality, there was still about 15 minutes left! As a manager, I believe it’s crucial to address customer complaints promptly, regardless of where we are in the film.
Overall, this experience left me feeling disregarded as a customer, and it certainly does not encourage me to return. It’s essential for a family-friendly environment like a movie theater to maintain a level of decorum, especially when young children are present. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to improve future experiences for families.
Used to love this location but since the Sony acquisition things are going downhill. Seats are worn out, they’re obviously short-staffing (staff are doing their best with the limited resources from mgmt!), and things are dingy and not clean.
I remember the Alamo, looks like Sony doesn’t.
