Pretty horrible experience. I'm here now with my wife and from the beginning and now it's still horrible. Walked in at 7:34 for dinner and sat at one of the cocktail tables for about 7 minutes. Finally went up to the bartender to ask if we could order dinner and she told us she'll let a server know. 5-10 more minutes later comes, gets our order for drinks and appetizers. My wife's berry margaritas and dos equis after took forever, but the place wasn't very busy at all. Chicken nachos were good though. Our dinner took almost 40 minutes to come out. We were done eating and were ready for the check and a Togo box. Our sercer/waitress went and started sweeping outside. It was about 10 more minutes so i basically turned my body towards thee back dining area where another younger gentleman and a manager looking type lady on a computer were gathered. The light bulb went off in the servers head and she finally remembered the Togo boxes. Food wait times and server attentiveness are a zero out of 10. I still tipped 20% bc I know how being in the industry is. But be better as an entire team.

I loved going to Bar Loui for HH, but this place is going down the hill.
The service is horrible. 15-20 min for a waiter to take an order, and another 20 min to get the drinks. And not all drinks came at the same time.
Twice in a week this happened. The place is literally empty, so no excuse there.
They need new management and personnel that cares and takes pride where they work .

Bugs everywhere! The waitress told us it’s due the humidity. Houston is always humid so that’s no excuse. We have been to hundreds of restaurants in houston that are outside with not many flys or bugs around. This place needs a thorough deep clean

I came in for happy hour yesterday, and we sat ourselves at about 6.30, 30 minutes before happy hour ended. It took until 6.42 at least until we were greeted and our order was taken, which would have been fine if we hadn't made eye contact with all 4 servers and watched the tables right around us get service. It took another 15 minutes for us to flag down our waitress again, to add another bar bite to our order before happy hour ended (we still had not received ANYTHING that we had originally ordered). It was 6.58 at this point, and our waitress told us that she would do her best to get it in the computer before happy hour was over, and proceeded to stop by at least 3 of her tables on the way back. She then came back around 7.10 to let us know that she was not able to get that order put in before happy hour was over, and would we still like it at full price? It was finally at this point that she brought out our appetizers, still no drinks 40 minutes in. We said no, asked for our drinks to be brought out, and then attempted to have a decent time, while we watched the entire staff eat chickfila in another room we could see into.
At no point was any effort made to check on us or try to rectify the terrible experience, and they did not seem at all understaffed, rather more focused on feeding themselves and taking their time with service instead of making any effort for their guests to have a good time. I would be absolutely mortified if any guests to my business ever had this kind of experience, and doubt that I will ever be returning here. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

Music was so loud everyone at our tble left. Everyone in the whole back area left. When we asked to DJ to turn down the music just a little so we could hear ourselves talk, he asked us for money. Our waiter asked him to turn down music also, he would not. We have been going to Bar Louie for years. When does a DJ run the show? We are the people the never went back. How much will the your DJ make you now.

Bar service was slow, seems to be one guy but 10 mins for a beer. Food seems slow today too. I’ve been here before with better service.
Thought we found a gem, the place looked beautiful. Walked in with a group of 8 and no one came to serve. Then a person came and blank faced no greeting said I’m not your server I’ll find someone. Walked off. Finally another person came and again - no greeting no welcome just took an order. Claimed to not have stuff on the menu and knew nothing about the drinks. We had to order basic easy drinks because it seemed like the server didn’t want to be bothered or even serve us at all. Literally anyone that got something other than a beer returned it. The drink were bad. Definitely didn’t live up to the beautiful place. So now we have poor service and bad drinks. They proceed to open the glass windows in freezing cold weather. Literally everyone (other tables too) asked for a check and left. Went to world of beers and had fantastic service and a much better time!

Well I normally don’t leave reviews but this place I had to. If you can seat yourself then there should be something in place to provide proper service. For an half empty bar I thought the service would have been a little better. Safe to say my wife and I won’t be back

Waited for about 20 mins for a server to come and finally got up and asked for one. They said one would be out. 10 minutes later I went back to ask again and this time a server followed me to the table. Ordered cocktails that were weak and mentioned this to our server. Ordered another round same thing. The food was good and once we had a server she did a good job. Would not recommend going for the drinks.

0/10 it honestly should be shut down. infested with fruit flies inside around the tables. food gives you a stomachache before you can get the check. i've had a stomachache still three days after. food quality is beyond poor. I only came because i'm used to the bar louie in nashville tennessee which is great but this one makes me throw up just thinking about it. disgusting

visited this location 11/22 during lunch hour. let me just start off by saying there was only two other parties besides us. service was terrible, there only seemed to be one person working and he was not the best waiter. we ordered an appetizer which we didn’t think would take long because there was really nobody there but it did. we waited, ordered drinks + our food. 25 mins go by and we haven’t received the appetizer nor the drinks. i would expect slow service if it was busy but there was only two other parties which seemed like nobody was helping them either. waiter took our order and just disappeared? we ended up leaving! never returning to this location again!
