Went in on a Friday night with my family, and they were literally talking to the cashier trying to explain what they wanted when this random chick straight up cut in front of them and started talking to the cashier to get her order in. Introduction: I normally don’t do reviews but for this one, I just might have to. As I stepped inside the store, I was welcomed by the owner. Her name is Jennifer and she is extremely friendly and helpful. In an instant once I finished my order she immediately prepared my order and had a brief conversation with me. The shop itself has a nice comfortable atmosphere. You can definitely sit here to do your school work or just hang out with friends.
Service: 10/10 The staff there is outstanding, very real and down to earth. They are so humble but so friendly. I appreciate all the thought and process that they put into to create the crème puffs.
Matcha Strawberry Latte: 8/10 I don’t usually drink matcha since I’m a tea person but their matcha is amazing! Not too sweet but just the perfect amount to enjoy the drink. At a crème puff place that specializes in their pastries, you wouldn’t expect their drinks to be good, but their quality is amazing. Their matcha is straight from Japan and their strawberries are always fresh, you can taste it in the drink! I would definitely get it again, even though my rating has an 8, that’s because I’m not really a matcha person but I would go here to get their matcha!
Vanilla Custard Crème Puff: 10000/10 if possible! The crème puff’s are made with so much love and rich ingredients. When you bite into the crème puff, you are met with a nice soft crunch. The inside has a nice smooth vanilla filling that isn’t extremely sweet but the right amount to satisfy your taste buds. The powdered sugar on top of the pastry adds a small enhancement on their crème puffs. These can be addicting so BE AWARE. You can tell that it’s high quality which makes up for the pricing of the Crème Puffs. Out of all the bakeries nearby, it can never top Beard Papa’s Crème Puffs.
Overall: I’m more than satisfied with my visit today, and I’ll definitely be coming more often. It’s such a bummer that not a lot of people try Beard Papa’s whether because of texture or they’re not exposed to it. But believe me when I say, it is one of the best pastry shops in Katy Asian Town. I believe it deserves more exposure and hype that it’s supposed to get, instead of the pain bakery places because their pastries is outstanding. With everything that they have to offer it is worth every penny.

BEST PANDAN COFFEE!!! i was here earlier today to get some coffee, i had absolutely no idea this place wasn't open yet. it wasn't intentional ( don't go to a place before they open please that's just genuinely wrong i just made a mistake by not checking their opening time first which IS inconsiderate ) but they were so nice to let me walk in to order my pandan coffee! i finally got to speak to Jennifer to the first time today, turns out she owns this place. she's an absolute sweetheart omg. i can tell this lady adores her store and the way she talks about coffee and bakery, i can tell she she put a lot of hard works love sweats and tears into this place. this SPECIFIC location needs more recognition tbh. their coffee is so good, rich, and tastes delicate with different topping options they offer which in my case, it truly is the pandan that has my heart. give this place a try, it's worth it!

Bro!!! First time here and maybe it was because I walked in towards the end of the day but the puffs was hard and dry and the fillings was runny. I had the green tea and vanilla and they were both gross. Would not recommend.

Got an irish latte and it was sooo delicious, ive decided my new favourite thing is coffee with irish creamer in it. Or maybe its the syrup, i dont know but im obsessed. Will be returning soon. The picture is what it looks like after i stirred it really well. Curious what the blue part was. Spirulina?
