All I can say about this place is that you HAVE to try it for yourself. I got the 3 meat plate with potato salad and mac and cheese. The brisket melts in your mouth like butter, the ribs are juicy and tender, and the sausage was well seasoned and it was homemade. It’s hard to come around and find good, seasoned, well smoked meat. Now don’t even get me started on the mac n cheese. I bet your mom’s mac n cheese don’t compare to this. It’s perfectly baked and cheesy. Then the potato salad was perfect. I should’ve got an extra side of the beans but I’ll for sure come back to try that. If you want barbecue that truly slaps, go to Big T Smokehouse!

Never had the food, but wanted to try. Reviews on the food seemed promising. Ordered TooGoodToGo. Got there before the designated pickup time, which is chosen by the business and is within their business hours, and they were closed and gone. Called their number, the woman at the other end said she didn't know what TGTG was really, but knew they had sold out at 3 that day. So my question then is why was I able to buy a TGTG plate from you at 5-6 if you were out of food, when those plates have to be set up on sale by the business? Seems very negligent to leave plates up for sale online when there's no food left and you're closing early.

Saw and smelled the smoke, so I decided to stop by. Talked with the owner for a minute, had to give Dallas vs Houston bbq trash talk, and he was very personable and stood on his business. One customer, from LA, ate out in the food park and came by and said he come to eat only his bbq, so I knew he had some good Q. His confidence and consigner made me get the 3 meat plate, that way I could taste it all and my son got the loaded bbq fries. I also ordered the sweet tea and it was the truth. He asked did I like boudin and I asked him is it smoked, he laughed but when he gave me one, it was on point. Got home with the main entrees and …….. I’ll be back.

One of the best barbecue spots I've tried since being out here. The owner was helpful by going over the menu and recommending diff food choices based on what I was looking for. The meats were tender and savoring w flavor. The homemade tea was delicious! I'll be back.

They came to the fort bend county fair this year and all I have to say is wow! Some of the best brisket and smoked susage I have ever had. Y’all have to check them out they are fantastic!
Last month I placed an order for their hand made sausage links for my grandma's bday party and they were THE HIT of the party! I tried a few of their menu items at a private event in the past so I knew they would not disappoint! Everyone kept asking where did I get those good links from!? I flew into town for the party and was able to coordinate a convenient time to meet the owner for the order. The service was excellent and efficient. My order was ready on time and package appropriately for the links I was shipping back to Cali. When I am in town, BiG T's Smokehouse is the ONLY house I'm getting my bbq from! Thanks for the excellent service Big T's Smokehouse!

Yo this place is legit. Personally, best brisket I ever had. Rated 10 for softness. You can taste the love. Because his operation is smaller he really pays attention to each piece he cooks. Ribs are just as soft and fall of the bone. Wish he adds more rub on the meat but the bbq sauce makes up for it. Other famous bbq places are cook such large quantities in such a large bbq pit that they don't pay as close attention to the meat. The mac n cheese is delicious. Classic mac n cheese cooked right. Dirty rice is ok. I feel it is missing something. I for sure will be back for the turkey.

Big T's smokehouse food truck/trailer in the El Grande Food Truck Park 6217 N Fry Rd Katy Texas. We just had the smoked turkey leg, my wife's favorite. OMG absolutely loved it! We had the chicken a few days ago with the same result. If you like smoked meats you can't go wrong. Come give them a try.
